We liked it so much, we came back!

This is a great hotel, brilliantly located with excellent staff and a fabulous restaurant.

The parking is small and with a narrow access, book ahead for a place. Don't worry if you don't get one though as there's a bag drop parking right outside and a secure carpark directly opposite.

Absolutely wonderful historic building. Was very close to the centre, where you could see some beautiful Christmas decorations and watch a delightful light show whilst eating a fantastic meal. Parking was opposite the hotel & relatively cheap.

Fantastic service, great food

Great location to city center with convenient parking, great restaurant, comfortable bed and modern walk in shower. Staff was amazing with advice and ensuring we were enjoying the city and all of the beautiful sights. Not enough nice things I can say about this wonderful stay! Thank you Brice!

Lovely hotel with warm welcome in perfect location

We've stayed here once before - the location is fabulous and it is just opposite a public car park which is a good "value for money" option to the hotel's private parking (we paid 6,80 euros for an overnight). The rooms are very comfy and well appointed. We found our bed a little too soft for our tastes but otherwise we couldn't complain about our night's sleep. Areas of the hotel have been renovated and improved, notably the restaurant and breakfast room, all of which have been done with taste. The dinner menu and food was excellent, with an excellent choice of wines. And breakfast was pretty good value for money all in all. But it is the staff that are the cherry on the cake... very welcoming and efficient. Good choice!!

Our bed was a little too soft for our liking and rustled as if there was a plastic mattress protector, which is a little off putting. But this is really nitpicking!!!!

The standard rooms are somewhat small and could have more shelving, but this is only a minor issue

Foodie heaven in the restaurant, comfortable, accessible and very welcoming.

The room was lovely, very well appointed, very comfortable and clean. There is a choice of lift or stairs. The location is great, tucked away, with limited parking onsite but a public garage is almost almost immediately opposite. The restaurant was excellent - an extensive menu and wine list, great cocktails - I recommend the Philippe Le Bon. The food was delicious.

The excellent staff make up for any possible shortcomings in this historic and charming hotel

Our special celebration was beyond expectations, mainly due to the efficient and charming staff at this lovely historic hotel. Brice and Geoffrey were exceptional in their efforts to make our stay as pleasant as possible. When there was a small glich in our first room, they were fast to address the problem and make us comfortable. When we wanted to share a drink with new friends, also staying at this charming hotel, they took care of this although the bar was closed. Dijon is a magnificent city and this is the place to stay. Just call Brice or Geoffrey and they will take care of you!

An excellent stopover on the drive back from southern to northern France.

Room was excellent - very comfortable and only one of two on the fourth (top) floor. Facilities were fine and the bed very comfortable. The hotel was centrally located and easy to reach the old part of the city. Reception staff were very friendly and professional. The bar was great, service good and dinner was excellent.

A hotel which much history, in a great location.

A great location and a building with much history. The restaurant/breakfast room is lovely and breakfast is good value with a good range of choices. The bar is very nice and we enjoyed a drink there. Even though the hotel is situated with streets on either side, there wasn’t any street noise that disturbed us. The courtyards and historical areas are a bonus.

I think much depends on whether your room is in the older part of the hotel or the newer. We were in the older section which involves a bit of a hike to get your bags up curved stairwells. Our room was a little dated (the carpet needs renewal) but quite comfortable. The main problem is the plumbing. Whenever taps, or the toilet especially are used, the noise reverberates for an extended period of time. I was woken during the night by the prolonged whooshing sound through the pipes. The shower was over the bath. A rubber mat would be appreciated as the surface was quite slippery which is especially problematic when stepping out.

Would highly recommend a stay here

Actually loved this hotel, opposite a car park (and cheap I may add) if there’s is full, the man on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, reception full of English people so couldn’t practise my French and with the reception so quiet I ended up whispering and then so did he and whispered “why are we whispering” haha very funny, the bar was lovely to sit out in in the evening. The room was perfect, every detail had been checked, location was very very good

Good place to stay in Dijon centre with parking.

Great location. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great plumbing 😂 didn’t need my glasses to work out the shower.

Not that I didn’t like, but useful to know … only 5 parking spaces - need to pre book, otherwise secure underground car park opposite. Also pre book dinner. The restaurant was full due to a large group and a wedding, however the friendly staff booked us into a neighbouring restaurant which was great.

Room was lovely and comfortable, a bit small but fine for 1 night stay. Unfortunately we faced the main road and in the morning a lorry was delivering very early and was very noisy. That was the only issue. The room had the best shower I have ever used.

What was it about this hotel? It was nice, but it was simply really nothing special. Room, breakfast, food, all ok, but nothing to write home about. Somehow, without there being anything wrong with it, it was really not worth the money.

We would go back without hesitation.

The 15th century bldg is charming and the two garden areas are relaxing and inviting. The staff is excellent and incredibly responsive (we asked for additional towels). The restaurant is a pleasure from the food !!! to the staff to the setting.

Sound carries up from the inner courtyard in the evening, but it only happened one night. The rooster was very enthusiastic every morning, but it wasn't really a problem.

We enjoyed our weekend - fantastic staff - good value for money

The staff were fantastic, without fail. Professional, friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had lunch and breakfast at the property and the food was good. Very central, everything is in walking distance. The original building has a lovely decor and a nice little courtyard garden.

Overall the room was good, had all necessary amenities. A few small touches could be improved upon - the carpet in-front of the fridge/coffeemaker was stained and the bathrobe had a hole in it.

The restaurant and service were very good. The wine list, expensive but good. It was a great experience but the food disappointing. The ‘Variations of Asparagus’ was bland and complicated. I think some delicious steamed asparagus with butter would have been a lot nicer. My beef was cooked perfectly however the salty green pepper sauce combined with the salt on the filet was too munch salt. I didn’t eat the sauce as a result. Overall really good but I think the chef sacrifices taste for presentation.

Very nice hotel and restaurant near Dijon center

Good location with easy access to parking garage. Excellent restaurant-dinner was excellent, and we decided to eat there both nights of our stay. Staff was friendly and accommodating-especially in the restaurant.

The wi-fi did not work for me. It was somewhat complicated to connect and automatically connect. The room was a bit on the smaller side.

Beautiful historic hotel in the city center!

It is an old, historic building and it’s beautifully done up! The room is spacious for a short stay. Breakfast was pre-ordered but very tasty and fresh. Parking right outside the hotel in a paid closed parking is also quite affordable. The staff was super nice and helpful.

The Bathroom was very very cold. This made the floor terribly cold and the reception had no bathroom slippers on asking. It is a tiny fault but made our stay uncomfortable!
