Fantastic stay!

This place is magic. Surrounded by the most beautiful landscape, the Spa facilities were really great. Especially the private pool for hotel guests and the spa area was a real treat. The rooms were spacious, super clean, we had a beautiful nature view from our terrace. The food was plenty, staff was amazing, we would come back without hesitation.

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The cuisine is of a very high standard: the dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and the restaurant staff provide fast and professional service. During dinners and breakfasts, we especially appreciated the warm and attentive welcome from the team. The reception deserves special praise: the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Check-in was smooth and pleasant, and we were thoroughly informed about all the facilities of the hotel, which created a feeling of genuine care. The room was spacious, clean, warm, and equipped with a very pleasant shower — it truly felt comfortable, like home. The SPA area and pools are the real highlight of the complex. Everything is of top quality, and this is definitely one of the main reasons to choose this hotel. We also appreciated the convenient parking and the many charging stations for electric cars — extremely practical and helpful during our stay. The hotel fully lived up to our expectations — highly recommended!

Heaven, but…

on a good note the views are unbeatable. The sunset and sunrise are like heaven on Earth. Great location. Close to everything. Reception staff are super sweet and friendly.

We are mainly here for the hotel and not the spa experience hence we got the short end of the stick when it comes to patience of the employees. Room is missing trash can in the bathroom I was told to move the one in the living room to the bathroom )! Crazy. No coffee cups. No slippers and hesitant employees to give when asked! It is a spa after all why robes with no slippers should i walk barefoot?? Advertised as has coffee machine yet doesn't, would give you a kettle when you ask. Bathroom amenities are all there except toothbrush and also hesitant to give 2 for 2 people??? Room has no a/c and no ventilation hence gets hot fast and feels like there is no breathing room. Asked for 2 fans and got them so thanks for that. Call reception to get something they wont help you contact the department themselves, they ask you to do it even if the room service does not answer the call. Bathrooms smell really bad!! Space is packed and fully booked I bet if i had come here for the spa experience I would have other things to say. Sadly i don't. There is also a tax charge that booking does not charge per day per person roughly 2.5 euros.

Highly recommand!

A beautiful place in a perfect location, with stunning views from every corner. The rooms are large and spacious, and the staff is kind and always smiling. The pools… simply a dream! The water is truly warm — the ultimate treat. The hotel facilities are just wow!

Two downsides I’d recommend improving: the dinner was really not good — the food just wasn’t tasty. The second thing is the mattresses and pillows — not comfortable at all, and definitely not something to cut corners on. Despite these two issues, I highly recommend this place! The positives far outweigh the negatives big time!

My stay was excellent, a remarkable and relaxing experience.

The friendly and kind approach of the staff, the quality and wide variety of food, the spa facilities entertaining both children and adults, the room design and size were all excellent.

The fully transparent glass door of the bathroom is inconvenient.

Great holiday

I would like to start by addressing our congratulations to a few members of the hotel staff: Mr. Marco from the reception who was very helpful throughout our stay, very professional, gave us very useful advice, and presented us with great detail the attractions in the Kaprun-Zell am See area! Congratulations! Thanks also to our waiter from the first days, Mr. Badreddine, always with a smile on his face and very attentive to the customers! Also to Mrs. Claudia, from the Sky pool, our thanks. Overall the hotel and the services met our expectations, the spa and thermal areas very clean, the water in A relaxing stay, good hotel, with good service, clean rooms, very kind housekeeping

On the other hand, we can say that we were somewhat disappointed that our request for dinner was not taken into account, considering that my wife only eats chicken or pork, we would have expected the manager or chef to take this into account! A minus would be the behavior of the restaurant manager, who allowed himself within a few minutes to yell at an employee and then to point a threatening finger and attract the attention of a waitress in an extremely harsh tone! From my point of view, observations should be made elsewhere, never in front of customers! It was sad to see how the girl had a tear in her eye, blushing all over Maybe for the balcony it would be good to put a table

Relaxing weekend in the mountains

The staff was super nice and helpful. We were welcomed very warmly, got informed about everything. The rooms are ready from 15 p.m., but we've received a private locker to change and be able to use the swimming area. We could leave our car in the garage and from there we could reach the hotel directly. The swimming area was super cool and relaxing. We had a nice room with balcony, and the best thing was, for the hotel guests there is a private Skylinepool and Spa available that is adults only, and it's amazing. The breakfast buffet is very rich, various fresh foods are included.

The bed was quite hard. The chairs in the room and on the balcony were quite old, they could be changed.

Room, spa facilities, cleanness of saunas and amazing views

Dinner, main course option was rather limited and didn’t like the taste and quality of foods in menu. Busy restaurant and waitress. Didn’t make sense water was not served free and had to pay. and waitresses were serving tables selectively and unequally, had to wait long to order.For breakfast, very limited type of tea bags which was not at the level of this hotel, couldn’t find a classic green tea. Open tea pots were there only for decoration which was weird.

Very nice and spacious room with great mountain view and really good soundproof. The hotel in general was very clean. The breakfast was really great and they had us a table at the bar so we could have breakfast with our dog! The free mini bar was a good thing. Really nice location in nature watching the mountains from the spa and feeling really relaxing. The warm pools have really great temperature.

The pillows and the mattress were not good at all. You expect to have a great sleep in very comfort bed in such a supposed relaxing hotel and taking into consideration the really expensive rates. What was really disappointing was the fact that we informed the reception about a bed bug we found in a spa towel but they were not really interested. They just said "oh sorry" ... The check out gift was really poor and not even relevant with spa! The staff in the bar was in general arrogant and inpolite

The whole experience at Tauern Spa was lovely, all interactions felt seamless and friendly. The breakfast buffet had everything one can wish for. And the spa, especially the Hotel only spa with the infinity pool was incredible. Hope to stay here again! Shout out to Hannes, thank you for the wonderful morning hike.

It was a heat wave in Europe during my stay and the hotel room definitely got too hot even with coolest AC setting, probably 26 Celsius. At night with open windows around 2am it was okay though plus probably rare to get these temperatures in Kaprun.

Great position, 5 minute by car to the glacier Kitzeinhorn, 10 minute from lake zel am see, fantastic thermal center so clean and organized, nice gym and swimming pools. Great breakfast , dinner not so good ( in italy we cook better..). One particular mention to Hannes the man who propose excursion so professional and kind. The bycicle tour of the valley and around lake for me and my son was unforgetteble !

Maybe customers are only germans and austrians, i prefere more cosmopolite

It is a beautiful hotel, plenty of indoor and outdoor pools, very good restaurant and the rooms are big and comfortable. The staff is very kind. We stay there for a week with two babies and the staff was very generous, thoughtful and accepting. My wife tried the spa, full-body massage, and said it was great also. There is a free parking near the entrance and we found a place to park everyday.

A little bit far from Kaprun (15-20 minutes).. But it can be a lovely walking (nice weather, beautiful fields around and zero elevation)

It was fun and good but can be enhanced

Swimming pool was excellent. Breakfast options were a lot and very good. Location is perfect and close to everything.

The AC stops and gets loacked at night from 12.00 AM to 6.00 AM. It is not even in fan mode it stops completely and you have to wake up and open the window for air! No body informed us on that.. The shower and WC are seperated with no sink in the WC and shower is completely see through everyone in the ro can see you there is small curtain to cover one side only! Not sure why!

It was an awesome stay

Its clean, comfortable and the spa is awesome.The restaurant is nice and the breakfast its just exceptional. Also the staff is helpful and nice. Each person I interacted with was a nice person; from the clerk at the desk to the persons that cleaned the table in the restaurant to the persons from spa. Very good experience overall.

The window into the shower in every room is not ok. I do not want to shower myself with public.
