The location was fantastic for our needs; rooms were lovely, very comfortable and staff were very helpful.
Breakfast staff were not as attentive as I would have expected, and we were disappointed at how early the hotel bar was closing. The WiFi died for an hour (I saw the router flashing in my room).

Staff were friendly, car parking was good, breakfast was agreeable. Room was well designed. Hotel is well located and quite close to the centre of bristol
Lift door was very noisy and disturbed sleep. Rooom was smaller than I had hoped and the breakfasr was expensive. An inconsiderate guest had a noisy phone conversation in the early hours outside of our room door.

Breakfast on Friday was great as it was ordered from the menu and freshly cooked.
Cosy room bed was very comfy and the character of room was charming.
Location of hotel was excellent for exploring the city from.
Garage for parking was very useful.
Lack of cooked breakfast to order on Saturday and yet it was the same price as the Friday breakfast that could be cooked to order.
Sausages did not look cooked very much/appealing on Saturday morning.
Scrambled eggs on Saturday morning breakfast lacked flavour/seasoning.
Thumping loud music was playing on Friday night from bar nearby which was rather annoying.

location great. Breakfast room and lounge cute. Liked the fruit bowl
room was very cold and decor in bedroom part had dated feel. They didnt have GF bread for breakfast, despite being advertised as an option.

Location was great as I had meetings close by, breakfast was okay with hot options.
I found it quite expensive for the size of the room, but I guess may be market standard. The room was quite small and the service was very slow during breakfast

Room and bathroom were clean, fluffy towels and good overhead shower
The light from the fire escape was on all night and shone through the curtains. I know I asked for a room away from the wedding but the light was a let down.

Lovely room, conveniently located in easy walking distance, fab option for parking and very lovely staff.
Radiator in room was unable to be turned down - we tried thermostat which did not work, might’ve forgotten to mention to staff (sorry!)
We decided to leave windows open and was comfortable enough!

The details in the room were fabulous, I loved the character of the place, the super comfy bed, overall: I had a super cosy room with lots of character; breakfast was great too, location, staff ... I can't fault it, I simply had a wonderful stay in Bristol at this hotel :)

Great location, very friendly helpful staff. Comfy beds. Nice touch getting ground coffee and a cafeteria.
The walls are pretty thin, I had a man next door having a loud telephone conversation and could make out every word. So I think if you had a loud guest next door, it could really affect your quality of sleep.

We booed a ‘cosy doublé for us both to be told on check-in that fire regs meant 2 people were not allowed in the room
We were given a lovely room and all was well but what if the other room had not been available ?

The room was exceedingly small. Very little room to move. No evening food available (due to Christmas Parties). Breakfast was just OK. I stay in Bristol for work on a regular basis and this is the poorest hotel i have stayed in.

Staff were lovely, room looked incredible, loved the little bottle of brandy/whiskey (very festive), great shower.
Even with blind down and curtains drawn, still felt a cold draft come through the window (bed right next to the window). I blocked it with my coat

The room was clean, the reception staff fine.
The one goal – indeed the key goal - for any hotel stay is that you should be able to get a good night’s sleep and by this measure The Berkeley failed.
I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and the main restaurant area had been given over to Xmas parties. The sound travelled up to my first-floor room, making sleep impossible until the music finished, which was 1 a.m.
There were the Xmas classics: Mariah warbling through “All I want for Xmas is You”, plus some carefully curated drunken singalongs, such as “Mr Brightside”, before finally rounding the night off with “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. Although violence is never the answer, this song prompted dark musings on the cricket bat scene from “Shaun of the Dead”.
Disappointing.

The proximity to our weekend event. Despite some renovations it did not spoil our trip.

Breakfast was excellent. The TV didn't work in my room. yesterday the room smelt of cooking but this morning and last night it didn't. Bed was very comfortable and shower was brilliant.
TV worked at first but then stopped working. Not a major issue though as I was busy at a wedding. Room smelt of food on entry but when I came back from being out, the smell had gone.

I loved staying here!! The little extra touches meant a lot with fruit, biscuits and even sherry! Bed was very comfortable, the roll top bath was amazing as well. Staff really accommodated me when I wasn’t feeling well putting my breakfast in a takeaway box. There is a lift too even though it’s an old listed Victorian building which was handy. I found it pretty quiet and the location is excellent. I’ll be back!
Nothing!

Location was excellent, room was small but very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was very nice.
Bit of a mix up over parking space availability, but one did become available eventually.
Was offered a discount for an evening meal only to be informed later that the restaurant wasn't actually open that evening!

The room walls are incredibly thin - you can hear your neighbour very clearly.

Staff were friendly, hotel was easy to find and well-located
The rooms are very cramped and not well looked after. There was chipped paint on the windows and bathroom door. We slept awfully as the windows would not open at all and the room was very stuffy.
