Location, ability to park, friendliness of staff and Racks food and beakfast on site and was excellent. Also price - value for money of room.

Room stuffy as window opening restricted due to ground floor abd safety. Fan good but noisy. Bed not particularly comfortable so not a good nights sleep. Understood it was warm weather. Decor was pretty tired.

Room was very small but had everything that I needed and was perfect for a one-night stay. I was able to check in at 10:30am which really helped as I was then off to ArcTanGent Festival until about 10pm.

Lovely, friendly and welcoming staff, good sized, quiet room, super- comfy bed, great bathroom (with bath! 🤩)

The coffee was bitter, so not to my taste. I chose Eggs royale but I didn't enjoy it because the smoked salmon was poor quality; stringy and salty. The bedroom was a bit too warm at times so I'd think twice about staying in very hot weather.

Lift to 2nd floor. Comfortable bed. Good view from window (room no 40).

Had thought I had booked with breakfast, on booking.com, but told no breakfast included. Only one (uncomfortable tub) chair in room, no table except small counter for kettle etc.,, so nowhere to sit and drink coffee/write letters/do make-up etc in room. No iron or ironing board provided. Staff young and not 'user-friendly'. Had not realised there was a noisy bar in basement. Also no rails for front steps up, which for two disabled pensioners - one registered blind, the other just getting over a knee operation - was unsafe. Booking.com said private parking - never did find this, as told £15 per night, two streets away, so just parked directly outside (with Blue Badge). Shower doors hanging off, fixed shower so again not 'user friendly'. Will not be returning.
