It was clean and quiet and the staff made an effort to allow us to check in 45 mins early.
The photos on the website are misleading. It looks like a characterful old nicely restored property from the outside. In reality it's a modern medium comfortable business hotel similar to a Novotel perhaps. It's in an unpleasant graffiti-ridden area of Bristol

It was all fine and the advance price was very good value, as was the breakfast (which we didn't book, but it smelled good!).
In-room Nespresso was great - but generic capsules had no info on strength or flavour so it was a guessing game.
Bathroom was great - decent towels and lots of soap, etc.
Bed was large and very comfortable.
Blackout curtains were very efficient and room was quiet and secure.
For a building with such history and a great frontage the inside was a bit bland and ordinary.
Electronic key collection - OK, convenient, but as we'd gone to the desk to speak with a real person then perhaps a little more hands-on customer service would have been appropriate. Felt more like a Purple Palace!!!
We were directed to the wrong floor for our room! Hmmmm!
Location was central Bristol, but no valuable information about parking was given. Luckily we knew where to go and were happy to walk.

Location, close to St Nicholas Market & so central. Hotel was extremely clean & very quiet. Staff very accommodating and friendly. This is our third time visiting.
Not enough complimentary tea/coffee & snacks. The freeze dried coffee in the room was undrinkable.

Hotel and room spotlessly clean.
We booked suite room which I’d highly recommend we was very impressed with suite rooms, Christmas decorations as you walked in to hotel reception was amazing very Christmassy, perfect location only short walk from the harbour where lots restaurants and bars. Our stay 10/10 can’t wait to our stay here.
Everything was perfect 😀

The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom. The location was very central and close to the centre.
The breakfast was average and one member of the breakfast staff was very rude.

The hotel is in a great location with plenty of food options nearby. Staff was polite and efficient. The breakfast wa very reasonably priced and we all enjoyed it.
The hotel is located on a street that is not accessible to card so we had to pull our luggage (6 pieces) about a block from where we were dropped off. No complaints otherwise.

The hotel was located in a former printing business and was decorated in an Arts & Crafts style. The entrance was outstanding.
It wasn’t possible for the taxi to deliver us to the door of the hotel so we had to walk a couple of hundred metres with our luggage.

Beautiful room. Nice receptionists. Airiness if lobby and bar. Contemporary design. Good breakfast. Great location.
Lobby and bar area a bit chilly. Water damage above lobby entrance needs attention. Some breakfast choices missing, but still plenty.

Room was nice but the facade was not as bright and clean as the website photos and having no interaction with a human at check in or check detracts. When we did speak to staff on two of the three occasions this lack of front of house experience showed.
Food in the restaurant was OK. Worth the £25 but no more.
Room was nice and good location.

Decor was nice and fresh.
Don’t agree with self checkin - too impersonal and it didn’t recognise our booking anyway so we had to go to reception in the end! We stayed during a hot spell and the room was far too hot in the night and we couldn’t adjust the aircon to less than 18 degrees - it was unbearable. Couldn’t get a champagne cocktail in the bar as it would mean opening a bottle.

The hotel is housed in a historical building with a gorgeous facade. Our room was big with good lighting. There were some drinks and snacks in the fridge which were included in the room rate. Check-in and check-out was efficient as it could be done online (including the payment). The location was good as it was close to the city centre and to many restaurants and attractions.
Considering how efficient the online check-in, check-out and payment were, we were dismayed by the chaos at the reception area when we arrived. We left the suitcases at the hotel, as we arrived early, but these suitcases were left lying around the reception area among a huge amount of other suitcases. When we returned in time for check-in, the receptionist initially could not find one of the suitcases, as it was oddly not stored with our other ones, In the room, the a/c was windy on the lowest fan setting so we had to switch it off and then the room became too hot. The extractor fan in the bathroom cannot be switched off, not even at night, and it would have been so much better if the bathroom door were a sliding one, as it made a decently sized bathroom feel crammed when being used by two people. Shockingly, the bedside tables were not particularly clean and one of the pillow cases had strange brown stains. Thankfully there were other pillows. Unsurprisingly, the breakfast room was busy but the issue was not the crowd but, rather, that the food was bland and flavourless. Last but not least, the ceiling at the entrance to the hotel needs repairs - not the best way to welcome guests.

A great find, this stylish hotel is tucked away in a great location, within walking distance of both the harbour area and the shops at Cabot Circus. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The discount on local NCP parking was much appreciated. We will be back.
Nothing comes to mind.

Everything all so clean, the room was spacious and had bottled water and tea & coffee making facilities, the shower was lovely

Lovely place. Very smart and clean. The room was comfy and air conditioning. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choice, hot and cold buffet. Good quality food. I would actually stay again here. I dithered over picking a hotel and so glad I got this one. Very close to bars and restaurants. Nice are by the markets.
Pillows were too soft for me. Shower made a mess on the floor.

The hotel was nice and quiet and the room was immaculate. The cleaners clearly do a stirring job, I was very impressed!
Queuing for the coffee machine in the morning at breakfast!

It’s lovely hotel, easy access in city centre and they made my Daugtner surprise birthday gift on in room thank you again .

Room and location of hotel was very good. No problems.
We checked in online and were sent our room number by email and obtained key from machine in foyer. This is rather impersonal but fine. However no mention was made anywhere that the room we were allocated (747 I think) was in the Print Wing (I think that is the name) and is accessed by a circuitous route vie two lifts and a fairly long walk. We therefore just took the lift to 7th floor and couldn't find our room. Also no instructions in lift about using card then pressing floor number so both we, and the other couple in the lift took several attempts to get the lift to work. We eventually got further instructions from someone we met in the corridor about how to find our room, so the whole thing took a long time

The whole hotel was absolutely beautiful. The decore the location and everything was just perfect.
Even bar staff. Well two of them.
Reception staff and bar staff let you down (evening staff)
First lot of drinks lovely staff.
Giving a 1 rating for this.
Waiting for 10mins second occasion on 12/8/25
at the bar. No one there. Reception man said
"she will be 5mins"
Came to the bar, rude, very little English told me "bar closed, can't serve these drinks" And walked off. My husband asked why not and she ignored him too. I went to the reception and asked them both "why can't you serve these drinks, and make me wait a total of 15mins if we can't have another drink"
'. If you have turned
off the draft, then say you can't serve spirits what can you serve". Their reply "wine or bottle beer"!!!! If that's the case you need to add a sign on the bar!!!

They allowed early luggage drop off.
A large map of city provided.
Bottled water in the room.
No early check in available.
No fridge in room.
AC did not turn off at midnight even though it said it did.

Okay decor.
Poor location, dirty city within student area vibe, vomit and urine on the streets near by and overspilling bins. Felt a bit unsafe walking from the nearest carpark to the hotel. An automated hotel where you check in and out without any human welcome, it may suit some but I found it un personable. Due to location your room may look onto a brick wall or opposite window no city or any view . I paid for an upgraded executive room only to find it small and dark with a brick wall at my window. Dissapointing I will not return.

Room size was very nice, location was central and everything was a walking distance away.
Had to change the lift two times to get to our rooms
They should provide more vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast
Should allow for early check in as well
