My first visit to this hotel. Friendly professional staff made the stay very enjoyable.
My sat nav struggled to find the parking provided by the hotel. I had to use the local NCP and make my way on foot.

The location for exploring Bristol centre is great. It was reasonably priced and pretty clean
The mattress was quite hard and woke with a bad back, the shower was missing the rubber seal on the door so the bathroom floor got very wet. The window closely overlooked a block of offices which is fine but could have done with a net blind for privacy. The room was small but Could have had a small table or shelf on the other side of the bed for putting drink and phone on. Hotel staff were polite but not particularly friendly/interactive

Nothing! When I stay in Bristol, it’s always here

The room was beautiful and bigger than expected. Was lovely and clean on arrival and the location was perfect a 7 minute walk to harbour side!
Room wasn't ready at check in time 3pm

Hotel was very central. Room was big and clean. Shower screen was a bit grubby but everything else was fine. Didn't have breakfast so cannot rate it.
Black mould on shower screen

Breakfast was good, but staff appeared to be thin on the ground, so quite often lots of bits/crumbs and spillages not always attended to properly/wiping down of tables etc
I like the hotel, but it’s starting to look a little chipped and faded around the edges, likely due for redecoration and revival of some of the rooms for example

The room was surprisingly large and modern, as well as really clean and nicely decorated. The bed was huge and comfy. And the corridors were well kept.
No moisturiser/body lotion in the bedroom, not much choice of teas, no bottles of water. I tried to call reception twice for room service but no one answered.

The breakfast was excellent as was the location. The room was small such that I knocked myself on the TV every time
The room was small such that I knocked myself on the TV every time I walked past the beds. The decor was a bit odd and the lighting poor.

Greet spot in the centre of the city, room was a good size, clean and fresh.
Maybe the walls are thin or we were just unlucky but we had very noisy room neighbours - I had to ask them to be quiet at 3am. Maybe some signs reminding people to be quiet at night would be good.

Parking next door
Breakfast was appalling. We went at 10.00am on Saturday. At the time there were no baked beans,no hash browns,no bacon but would only be a minute, and the sausages were undercooked. The coffee machine wasn`t working correctly.
Very dodgy service in the bar.Prices kept changing, for example, large gin and tonic and pint os Aspels cider £18.01,next round £20.45 for same round. There were 8 of us staying there this weekend and all of us experienced the same thing.

Great location, very central for shopping, restaurants etc.
Bedroom was modern and well decorated.
Walls are incredibly thin & we were woken by multiple other guests throughout the night.
Bathroom in desperate need of modernisation.

We had a suite which was very spacious and great decor
Great location, was a lot quieter than I thought it would be due to it being so central

Location was excellent, staff were helpful, breakfast was plentiful.
Our room, which was a suite, was located next to the lift on the third floor. Lots of noise and felt like the lift was in our room. We asked to switch rooms but we're informed that all the Suites were located next to the lifts so would have the same issue. Best room in the hotel in the noisiest location. We did not sleep which should be the main part of a hotel when you book. Very disappointed, spent alot of money for 2 nights in the Suite for almost zero sleep.

Room somewhat small. Also need some update. My mirror was cracked and shower was a bit fidgety

Room was very small and smelt of damp, air con broken, bed uncomfortable and shower leaked onto the floor

The hotel was very close to the coach station and close to all of the amenities.

Good location
Mirror behind sink was too far away for putting on makeup

All staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the location was great. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the room facilities were good. It met all my expectations for the price I paid.
As others have said, the floor in the bedroom could have done with a clean as well, there was a small amount of visible debris.

Staff were lovely I was given an early check in & an upgraded room.
Room had everything I needed & was comfortable.
There was a little balcony outside the window that was full of cigarette ends, it looked awful, I did tell reception when I checked out.
I came back at 11.30pm to find police outside the hotel, with some guys kicking off. My taxi driver said it was a regular thing around the area, for that reason I would not recommend this location for a solo female traveller.

Location for an event at the hotel opposite
The room was rather cramped, would have been difficult if I was sharing - nowhere to put a suitcase except on the floor by the unused side of the bed. It was also very cold, and when I tried to increase the heating all I got was a blast of cold air.

All Very nice helpful staff on reception- at night - and in restaurant .
I was initially in a room above kitchen extractor fan which was on because of an event . Staff kindly changed the room for me.

room was very comfortable and quiet, location very central for exploring Bristol and nightlife
Breakfast was OK, some of the 'hot' food items could have been hotter

Comfy bed, good location and great breakfast.
No biscuits with tea and coffee making facilities. Thin, hard towels and thin pillows.
Shower cold when used later in the morning.

The walls were paper thin- you could hear ever word of conversations in the neighbouring rooms and the corridors.
The bed was really uncomfortable, with the springs poking through and poor quality cheap polyester bedding. Poor pillows as well.
The TV in the room didn’t work.

Got given an upgrade when checking in which was a lovely surprise,
The price for breakfast was high.

Great location in central Bristol: walking distance to wherever you want to go, or an Uber away if you want to go a little further.
The restaurant/bar is nice and not ridiculously priced.
Décor is not bad.
The beds are hard to the point of painful. I'm a fan of a firm mattress, but I struggled to find any position in which I wasn't in agony.
The bins weren't emptied when we arrived, which is disappointing.
The TV in the room wasnt working properly: with a dual image and contortion on the image. We tend to turn the TV on only when we're getting ready to go out for some white noise, but I imagine someone stating for business would be put out.
The walls are paper thin, meaning we could hear our neighbours on both sides' conversations as if they were in the room with us.
If this were a Travelodge, or a similar budget brand then these are things I could just about excuse, but for a city centre hotel it's not great.

Location and parking
Very tired property, lift not working for 48 hours, restaurant was mainly Indian food with very few other options and breakfast was awful.

It was where we were staying for a Xmas party night
The lift was broken & were on the third floor right at the back & the hotel is huge! The room was tiny, smelt of cigarettes & damp. Couldn’t get to the wardrobe without moving the bed, no extractor fan in bathroom so set the alarm off. Security on the night for the party were really rude

Long long walk to the room.
This hotel is big !

Location is great
Room wasn’t clean, pubic hairs found in the shower
Mould around the windows
Mattress very uncomfortable
For a similar price a stay at the Clayton is much more comfortable

Location is excellent for exploring Bristol- close to markets and shopping centres.
Staff helpful with our booking as our flight was cancelled and we had to amend booking.
Bedroom very tight. Hotel is dated. Disappointed that room wasn't cleaned despite our request.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and ideal location. We also enjoyed the food.
Despite having a few lamps and lights, the room was dark, so not easy to read, but it was December.
Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days, so I had to ask for milk to be topped up for tea in the morning.

Great location and access to a carpark
Arrived at 11.45am for a business meeting so asked if I could leave my very small rucksack and was to be charged £5! Lifts were broken, albeit they did apologise and gave me free parking.

Close to Bristol Hippodrome
Difficult to drive to - road signs said route was for taxis bus and motorbike Only so ended up parking in nearby car park and walking to hotel to ask how to get the car there- intercom didn’t work in car park so had to walk back and for to reception desk as parking ticket wouldn’t let us out after our stay

Very central Location
Be warned the pictures on Booking.com are not the pictures of all the rooms. I had to take a picture of my room and go down to reception and say this looks nothing like the room I’ve booked and luckily I was able to be upgraded to a room that looked the same as the one I’ve booked.
