Very relaxing

View from our room was beautiful - we found our stay super relaxing. Staff was wonderful— very very helpful and very accommodating - Sarah at the reception catered to all our requests and helped out with all our questions. Anna from the restaurant was also very sweet and welcoming.

I enjoyed the closeness to the lake.

Excellent view of Lake Lucerne, good variety for breakfast, staff exceptionally friendly and helpful with recommendations for exploring the nearby towns. I would stay there again.

Beds were not very comfortable, bathroom was very small and didn’t have enough amenities, I.e. conditioner.

Lake view property

Beautiful view from the lake of the surrounding mountains. We took a lovely walk close to the property along the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff (both in the dining areas and in the reception!). It was also a quick drive to Luzerne old town and also the point where we could get the cable cars.

Very spacious room, nice comfy bed, a terrace with view on the lake. Quite close to the highway, so ideal as a stop-over on the way to Gottard tunnel. Very friendly staff at the reception & in breakfast area. Everything very clean. Breakfast was nice.

Clearly all about proximity to the lake, but a bit isolated from everything else. The restaurant was closed when I was there, only 1 other restaurant walking distance, so a bit stuck for food. The balcony is nice, furniture there could use a make-over.

A fantastic hotel on the stunning lake.

Such a stunning location overlooking the lake! We were so fortunate to be able to take a leisurely breakfast on the terrace in the sun, too, even though it was mid-May. Although the restaurant wasn't open, the staff on reception recommended and booked, on our arrival, a great meal for us five minutes walk further around the lake. Wonderful attention to detail. Wished we'd stayed longer! Also loved our day in Lucerne.

We had a pleasant stay in Seehotel Sternen, the staff were friendly, the location was great, the breakfast was so delicious.

The bathroom was so small, and the elevator had a thing that made us sometimes feel dizzy (It swings when stepping in it)

View worth staying

Great location and view. Parking spaces always available. Professional and welcoming staff.

The EV charger parking always occupied by non-EV cars and I couldn’t charge during my stay (it’s not even reserved to EVs). No slippers in the room. Same breakfast everyday with not much of variety.

Staff were not very pleasant. TV is very old with no Netflix, only Swiss German channels. Shower was blocked meaning every shower we took, we were standing in nearly a bath full of water...

Good for 1 night stay travelling by car but don't have dinner there

The location is stunning right next to the lake. It is near the highway, so perfect for a 1 night stopover (we came from Greece and Italy and were returning to Belgium), yet it is very quiet and peaceful. We had an evening meal and breakfast, and both were top quality!!

Instead of a double bed, we had to single beds moved together which we didn't like that much. Also, the dinner was good, but quite expensive, for that price you can eat in a Michelin 1* place, quite a contrast with the restaurants where we had eaten in Greece and Italy...

Location was picturesque with breakfast right on the water. Room was clean and quiet, all views were beautiful. All of the staff was helpful and very nice.

Amazing hotel with a heavenly view. And they have netting on their windows so you can enjoy the cool weather at night (no AC or ceiling fan FYI).
