Proximity to KKL but otherwise overpriced

I chose this hotel for its proximity to KKL being in walking distance. The breakfast was declisios. The beds were comfortable. Private parking is a plus.

For this price, I would expect more amenities in the room. It is overpriced in general (room, parking space) just for its location and perhaps because it is in a nice-looking building, but it doesn't have any other plus to deserve this price.

Great location, comfortable room.

We managed to get early check in and we were also upgraded to bigger, adjoining rooms so that was great. The rooms are also spacious and bright, very comfortable. We didn't expect to get a Lucerne Tourist Card but we did so that was added bonus for us as we did not utilise our Swiss Travel Pass for the day. The location was amazing, just opposite the main train station and near to shops and restaurants. The staff was also helpful in checking for us the weather conditions so that we could plan the day's program. Coffee capsules were provided which is a plus too.

The pillows are too soft and it would help if two pillows were provided for better comfort. We accidentally locked the windows and couldn't open without keys so that was a bother as there was no air conditioning in the room. Everything else was great.

Superb hotel and restaurant just next to the main station.

Perfect location - just 2 minutes walk from the main station. It has a great restaurant and is surrounded by lots of other places to eat or pubs. Very good mattress and pillows - comfortable bed. It's a 3-star hotel but it could easily be a 4-star too in my opinion.

It does provide you with a little coffee machine and a complementary bottle of water, I would however really appreciate also a kettle to boil water in. Also in terms of the tea choice, some fruit and/or peppermint tea would be welcome, as all the other tea options (black and green tea) would've kept me awake at night.

Nice hotel in a convenient location but bring your own water.

Very nice location. Convenient to shopping and multiple great places for food and drinks. The hotel is directly across from a nice market, too. The lobby is very comfortable and the staff was helpful.

The room was pretty small. They said they’d given us an upgrade. That ended up being a sofa in the corner of the room. Also, there was a big bottle of water & two glasses in the room, but we couldn’t get the bottle open. That wasn’t helpful.

This hotel is ideal for a couple or family traveling to Luzern - and make sure to dine here too!

Everyone at the reception desk was fabulous. The location of the hotel is ideal for traveling by train and to site see. The restaurant is exceptional and so was the service in the restaurant. The lobby decor is welcoming.

The only thing off was the room decor - it felt overlooked compared to the rest of the hotel. Just basic storage needs and aesthetics could be improved.

Clean and comfortable!

Room was clean and spacious. We only stayed for one night but everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was close to the train station which was definitely a plus!

There is no a/c but they do provide a fan. Overall, we were comfortable in the room for a stay in late August.

Location! Staff! And wonderful place!

Location is amazing, super close to old town, bridge and basically 2 min walk from train station. Staffs are super nice! That’s the best part. I had a room with no wifi signals, they changed/ upgraded me to another room the next day.

Location - perfectly situated for access to city, restaurants, supermarket, train station and sightseeing. Perfect walking distances Room - was spacious enough for what we required.

No character or charm but a great location.

The location is terrific - steps from the train station and from the ferry for the Golden Circle to Pilatus.

It feels like a hotel that is designed to cater to group travelers. Even though the building is old, a remodel has removed any charm. It feels like a mid-tier business hotel. The breakfast was only so-so. And there's no air conditioning and our room was very hot.

Although we had air-conditioning as did my parents next door neither was turned on. I asked staff and from what I could understand it was unavailable as the system had been turned off ?? We were provided with free standing fans but they were so noisy it prevented any sleep

Everything, absolutely fantastic, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, brilliant location , really liked the idea of the honesty bar although we did not get a chance to use it plus the free ice cold water in the heat was incredible. Think they also had free coffee but again we did not get a chance to use it.
