Enjoyed and would return again!

The staff was welcoming, helpful and friendly. They helped with last minute reservations and got us into the place we couldn't get into on our own. The room was nice - mattress itself was comfy. The location couldn't be bet for our short stay - so close to everything - good food, tourist sights, and the train station. Oh and a nice touch with the glass water bottles that were easily refillable with two types of water.

Not much to dislike here. The bed sheets/duvet were a bit scratchy, and the pillows were odd-sized and a little lumpy. We sleep like prince/princess in our own bed so was hoping it would have been a bit more soft. But, the mattress was great!!

Lovely hotel

Great location, lovely hotel with restaurant on the ground floor, comfortable bed and pillows, window that opened for fresh air, quiet. Would definitely stay again.

My room (on this occasion) was small which was fine for one person but the bathroom was so compact that there was no space for my toiletries.

Very close to the train station. Makes it convenient if you will like to take day trips, only 5-10mins walk to the train and there is an underpass to all the platform

What a gem!

Cascade Boutique Hotel is only 8 minutes walking distance from central station, the reception is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The Spanish restaurant in house offers delicious food. The room is clean and cosy. The hotel building itself is architecturally adorable.

Modern property away from tourist zone

Spacious room featuring a corner bay window overlooking Mt Pilatus in the distance. Great lighting, lots of electrical outlets, strong water pressure in the shower, good variety of TV channels, comfortable bed, and modern bathroom. Complementary beer and bottled spring water in the room. About a 10 minute walk to the Chapel Bridge or the rail station. Excellent hot breakfast in the Bolero restaurant.

Unable to plug up “artisan style” sink in the bathroom to wash clothes.

Needs improvement and fix on heating system, breakfast menu and staff service serving meals

It was alright. I stayed here 3 years ago, had a great memory, decided to come back and stay at the same property, then very disappointed this time. Will not consider coming back unless the property makes improvements.

One of staff at breakfast area acted very awkwardly, felt like racism.

Amazing hidden gem, 5 star for value and experience.

5min walk on the quieter side of the city. Hotel gives you a visitor card that gives you free public transport within the city so no issues travelling! Minibar is free to take and refilled daily! They give you a free drink per person (wine, beer or soft drinks) if you request to skip cleaning. Provided body lotion, conditioner on top of usual toiletries. Breakfast was good too! Would come back again!

Bed is too soft. Tried the harder pillows but still soft in my opinion. Disposable toothbrushes would be perfect.

Lovely boutique hotel in a very convenient location!

Location is excellent. It’s around 5-10mins walk from the station. The reception lady is very welcoming and I was thankful to be able to check in earlier than usual times. The room is very clean and they offer free drinks in the mini bar in the room.

A nice and cozy hotel.

A cozy and beautiful hotel located not far away from the train station and major attractions. The rooms are clean and fully provided with amenities. A souvenir glass bottle was given to each guest, which could be refilled with drinking warer (still and sparkling!) at the lobby. Staff are friendly and attentive. A nice place to stay in Lucerne.

Truly unforgettable service in Lucerne

We recently stayed at Cascada Boutique Hotel in Switzerland and had a wonderful experience. All the reception staff were kind and helpful, especially Alexandra and Rea, who assisted us throughout our stay and always made us feel welcome. A very special mention goes to Amelia, the restaurant waitress. From the very first day, she showed incredible care and attention to our family’s needs. She remembered that my father is diabetic and always prepared fresh juice for him, and also paid attention to my mother’s dietary needs during breakfast. Her kindness and personal touch truly made a difference in our stay. Thanks to the team’s professionalism and genuine hospitality, our visit to Cascada Boutique Hotel was unforgettable. We are very grateful and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Switzerland. And to Amelia: if you are reading this, thank you so much for your kindness and care. We truly appreciate everything you did, and we wish you all the best.

Would not stay at this hotel again.

Breakfast was wonderful.

Walls are very thin. We did not sleep well because the unit above us and the people in the hall were so loud. The front desk person was nice when we checked in, but when we stopped to ask questions throughout our stay, they were not helpful and acted like it was rude of us to stop and ask a question. TV had only 2 English speaking stations.

The staff were very helpful especially in the restaurant. The food in the restaurant was very good, would recommend eating there. The location is great, everything in Lucern is easily walkable.

I think the room air conditioner needed its filters changing. There was a fusty smell coming from it when we entered.

Memorable and beautiful experience

We stayed as a family of four and were kindly offered a connected room, which was perfect for us. The room was beautiful, spacious, and had excellent facilities. The staff at reception were extremely welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was wonderful and staff were very helpful.

We loved it and would highly recommend it.

The receptionist was so nice and helpful, the facilities were clean and updated and while breakfast was an extra charge, it was worth it. A great selection. I would definitely stay here again. Plus it was a walkable distance to the train station and many restaurants.

The bathroom doors didn’t lock which was a little weird.

Had an enjoyable stay at Cascada.

Good choice at breakfast. Liked the waterfall themed decor in the room. Comfortable room and had a small balcony which was nice to sit out on. Free water/soft drinks in the mini fridge daily. Friendly staff. Easy to walk along road at side of the railway station past Burger king and Migros to get to hotel, its not very far away.

A hotel with no faults

From the moment we arrived. We were impressed with the hotel. It was a short walk from the train station, and easily accessible to access while travelling with large suitcases. We were greeted by the most beautiful and helpful staff, in particular Rae. We enjoyed that Rae personally took us up to our room, to show us our room and its features. The daily breakfast was excellent, with a choice of freshly made items, included omletes and scramble eggs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would love to go back. Will highly recommend this hotel.

Location was okay, big enough for family of 4, comfortable enough but no microwave.

That it was a family room. Water pressure.

Needed a microwave but they have a strict no cooking in room. Weird fancy futuristic light which did not suit the rest of the decor. It was very very big. Needed a couch being a family room. It was a bath shower and very high which could be dangerous getting in and out of.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff, comfortable and warm bed, very clean room, complimentary waters and juice, very close to train station.

Trains were heard from the room all day and night. (This was not a major issue, and worth it to be so close to the station.)

Great centrally located hotel with spacious rooms

The hotel was very centrally located in the city just a few blocks from all the activities with easy access to the train station. The hotel was very clean with spacious and nicely decorated rooms. We particularly liked our room layout as we were staying there with 2 kids. The breakfast was pretty standard for a small hotel. We’ll highly recommend this hotel.

Super comfortable stay

We like the room the beds were very comfortable ( sofa cum bed can be better not bad though ok ok ). Refreshments in fridge were complimentary that was nice & morning coffee too at the restaurant . Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and also provided plug converter for entire stay . Bus stop is just round the corner about 100mtrs . There is an amazing Indian restaurant near by ( suggested by a gentleman at front front desk ) also for vegetarians tidbits restaurant at the railway station is awesome and you can catch the bus for it right next to the hotel.

It's a bit cramped up for 3 people because we had 3 pieces of luggage . It's good for a couple though. I didn't like the smell of the toiletries provided . A little bit noisy in the day time because of the close proximity of railway station but not much.
