Cool B&B, perfect central location

That's a pretty cool B&B in the center of Lucerne. Rooms are above a lively bar, my room was very big, plus I had the chance to use a kitchen for taking care of my breaksfast. Reception by the host was very friendly, I much appreciated the welcome, the talks, the overall kindness. Nothing to complain about, I was positively impressed by this place, highly recommended for a 1-night stay in downtown Lucerne.

Nice stay for one night in Luzern

The fact that it is located on a floor above a bar seemed very cool to me. You can't hear the noise and just by going down a floor you can be having a drink with peace of mind. Very well located. The couple who run the hotel were very friendly all the time, they addressed our doubts with patience.

Super cool place. Spacious, clean, tidy, comfortable and with a balcony (which I didn’t notice when booking) Staff were cool and friendly, check in was a breeze. Super cool bar downstairs, that sold draft beer and proper coffee. Very short walk to the old town. Very happy with our stay.

Great location close to the train lines. We were very lucky to be able to check in early as we arrived early from our flight to Zurich. The owner was very accomodating. Overall great stay.

Comfortable room apart from the noise, and to a lesser degree the heat.

It was cheap!

The place has no Air Conditioning and the corridors between rooms are particularly stifling and worrying. The room was cooler and opening the window let even cooler evening air in. The problem was that the hotel is located close to curved train tracks where trains are particularly loud up to 2am and again from 5.30am. Even people in the streets were clearly audible from one floor up. In short, something in the acoustics of the room made it very loud when the windows were open.

Comfortable room within short walk of the station and not far from the centre of the town. Helpful owner who opened up for us as we arrived slightly early and was very pleasant and friendly. There was no food option but we found a lovely cafe just a short walk away.

The room was very very verrry small. Extremely small. We did not understand why the staff provided us with the smallest room even though the other rooms were available. We payed the same amount, we checked in before the other two groups too. Still, we were provided with the smallest room. It was very uncomfortable living in such a small room.

Comfortable and great location

Great location to walk into the main part of Lucerne and visit all the sites - also great to be in walking distance of the train station. The shared bathroom was very clean and the room was a good size.

One of the days one of the guests was smoking in the clearly signed no smoking rooms/bathroom and common corridors which made the entire floor smell. We weren’t able to find anyone at reception to help us alleviate the issue.

I read many reviews before booking this B&B. But honestly, it was not what I expected.

The bed is comfortable. There is an electric fan. The bathroom was clean.

There is no reception at all. When I wanted to check in, the door was not open. It was very different from other B&B that I have stayed before. Though it was namely a “B&B”, in fact breakfast was not included. The room was small without a sink. There was no tissue or hairdryer in the room. It was not convenient.

We had exceptionally comfortable sleeps here. The room was spacious and decorated with unique furniture and posters which we like. Our host was really friendly and kindly offered us a larger room upon check-in. Although we had a shared bathroom, we rarely noticed anyone else using it and the shower was hot and high pressured every time we used it. We were a few blocks away from the centre of Lucern and found it easy to navigate from there to the main sights. It was also easy to arrive to the hotel by car and to find parking. Great value for money, I would recommend a stay here.

There was not any coffee available at the shared tea/coffee station, only tea, but I'm sure if we'd have asked at reception, we could have got our hands on some!

The man at check in was very helpful and friendly. We arrived early and called the number, he let us in and held our bags for us. He also showed us to our room and was very accommodating. While there was a shared bathroom, it was only between three rooms.

There wasn't enough pillows on the bed. More pillows (2 for each person) would be good for the future :)

Great stay in a great location

Decent-sized room with a balcony which is nice. The location is excellent, only 10 mins from the railway and 15 mins walk to the river which is where all restaurants/bars are. The staff were great and can be contacted anytime if needed.
