    I checked in for 2 nights here. Checkin was smooth, got my room deluxe urban room which I booked. Got into the shower and it was super hot, no cold water. Got it into receptionists notice nobody came up I had to go down and ask them the status. I had my day planned and wanted to quickly leave but the plumber never turned up, I went down again and ask and the guy comes in after almost 20-30 mins. He check the shower and its broken. The receptionist has no idea what to do now, I ask her to change the room and she hands me a regular room even though I confirmed before taking the keys that this is the delux urban room which I booked and she said yes. I check the room and its something else. I go down again and tell he this wont work please I paid extra. She has no clue again what to do and the manager is unresponsive to her or i dont know what the issue is but the problem was completely ignored. The receptionist tries to offer me another room which was again very small and no street view, and this time I am furious about it. She tells me manager is not responding and I need to ask her first all rooms are booked and maybe we can offer free breakfast. I mean this is ridiculous there is no empathy or understanding that someone has arrived tired and just needs a smooth stay. However, the cleaning lady said you can use another rooms shower and stay in your room. This is the kind of stay I got from Hotel Alpina. I can add more details but a ridiculous stay, dont book it !! And No AC it was super hot !! Interiors of the rooms are fine but horrible experience

    Excellent location, so close to main train station. And close by to all main attractions. Great choice if you want to stay in Lucern.

    I travelled with my wife and 4 suitcases... I could not fit properly at all. In the peak summer, they are providing one small fan which hardly gives any air. Really disappointing. After asking for one more fan, they denied it..
