Apartment had everything we needed except AC, which was particularly noticeable because it faced the afternoon sun and when we finally could open the windows, the train station and an all hours pizza place were right outside. Not a prob, really, unless you are there in a heat wave, which we were. Perks for our fam were the kitchenette, park across the street, and walkability.

We had a great time in Lucerne by staying at this property. The apartment had evertything we needed and was very comfortable. Given how Lucerne is so expensive this gave us the opportunity to make simple breakfast, stock up the fridge with essentials and heat up frozen meals. The place is less than 5 mins from the train station and close to all other places.

The one bedroom apartment was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept better here than anywhere else on our trip. The location was fantastic. The second half bath made it easier with three of us staying here. A little expensive, but everything in Lucerne is, so overall value was good.

Nice property close to the train station. Very convenient . Check in is at Central Hotel and then apartment itself is down the road in a separate location. We had delayed baggage from our flight which was later delivered to the hotel. No one notified us until when it was time for check out we asked about our baggage. If we had not asked we would have missed it. Otherwise clean and wonderful location.

Dislikes- Drainage in the shower room was not good. The wash basin drainage was poor. When reported to the girl at reception, her question was offensive implying we had put something down the sink. We also had to wait for 40 minutes to check in as the apartment wasn't ready. Nico the Concierge who we dealt with was excellent,very helpful and friendly. If you want a good view then unfortunately you will be staring at a side wall of a church. We were not bothered about the view so was ok for us. The apartment should be checked for proper drainage etc before the next guest moves in. Likes- The apartment is very cosy, spacious and homely. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Only 4 to 5 minutes walk from the station. We can stay here again. Owners please advise staff to not accuse guests for something they report. Please thoroughly check the drainage before the next guests arrive.

Most of Switzerland don’t have AC and so this apartment. It’s very hot in Switzerland and this apartment has windows but the airflow is in wrong direction and so you don’t get any air into the rooms even if you open windows. Overall apartment is nice but without proper air you feel like very hot in the room. If you don’t mine staying in hot rooms. This is the place for you.

Apartment was great. Plenty of room, very clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Front desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location to old town and the train station and boats. Only recommendation I would make is that even though we knew housekeeping was only once a week in the hotel, it would have been nice to at least have dirty towels and garbage taken away periodically. Otherwise everything was lovely!

We booked a two-bedroom apartment and it was clean, modern and comfortable. The only minor issue was that there was only one bathroom and it was attached to only one of the bedrooms. Therefore, the person staying in bedroom #2 had to come into and through bedroom #1 to use the bathroom. That aside, the apartment was fantastic with lots of space and convenient to walk to the train station and or to old town Lucerne. By the way, the lower level of the train station has everything from a grocery store to a flower shop underneath (the currency exchange is on the upper level of the train station). When we come back to Lucerne, we will definitely try to stay here again.

This is a really well maintained property, centrally located from public transit and activities. Host is mindful of travelers needs and has stocked home with all basic necessities. Really loved our stay, kids were looking forward to return to the apartment after a long day out. Truly a home away from home. Only request would be for host to provide better fans as it was very hot on the days we stayed.

We stayed for a week in apartment 6 (one bedroom) as a couple. The apartment was the perfect place to stay while exploring Lucerne and the region, being only a couple of minutes from the station and with all of the city within a short walking distance. We got our breakfast each morning from the bakery 30 seconds from the front door - ideal!The hosts at Hotel Central were very friendly and welcoming, giving us a quick tour of the apartment and were helpful whenever we needed anything. They explained the cleaner comes once a week, halfway through our stay in our case, which worked well.The apartment itself is well appointed, having been decorated recently with a modern design. We didn't cook anything elaborate but the kitchen was well equipped enough for our needs. Lucerne was hot (~30C) when we visited, but the external shutters kept the apartment fairly cool, and we were given a fan by the hosts that meant we managed without issue. The price was in-line with staying in a local hotel for a week, but the additional space and facilities made us much more comfortable. Overall I would strongly recommend Neustadt apartments to anyone staying in Lucerne and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Room was clean, spacious and near to the train station. Only minor issue might is some road noise at night. Wasnt an issue for me, but my wife said it was keeping her awake the first night. Other nights were ok though. On the whole a great stay i must say, for the sheer convenience and space.

Towels are definitely not good quality for a week used and no cleaning stuff provided such as vacuum cleaner etc. I stayed for 3 nights as family of 4 and it’s tough without daily cleaning. For its price, it supposed to be service apartment. The TV also didn’t work properly. It kept changing channel by it self. You could only use it for Netflix. Also nobody told me you couldn’t use the back door (next to pizza restaurant) after 7pm with your keys. This is the door next to the Train station and main road so I felt this supposed to be the main door instead. We had to take a detour to enter the apartment after our long day trip. The facility is too basic. Once you opened the sofa in living room for the additional bed for my daughters then you only have the small chair of the dining table to use. For the size of the living room they should add more sofa and more place to put something on. We basically left everything on the floor and with no daily cleaning, the dust is practically everywhere.

Stelar Stay. Couldn't be happier with the experience. I travel about 40 weeks a year and try to stay in apartments whenever possible. This space exceeded all expectations. Great location. Seemed brand new. Great service from the staff. Would not hesitate to stay again.
