it was overall good

The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of the old town and the lake, which made it very convenient for getting around. The staff were also very good and accommodating. Although the official check-in time was 3:00 pm, I arrived at around 2:30 pm and was still given my room without any issue, which I really appreciated. The gentleman at the reception in the evening was especially polite and helpful. He went out of his way to assist me in finding restaurants that served vegan food and was very responsive to my questions and requests. The room itself was very good, spacious, clean, and comfortable only the pillows were not that good. It was noticeably larger than the room at another hotel I stayed in while visiting Interlaken, which made the stay even more pleasant overall.

I did not like the breakfast provided, as there were no vegetarian options available without egg. While booking, I had specifically requested a vegetarian diet without egg, but unfortunately this request was not reflected in the breakfast offerings.

The people that work there were very kind

Check in was supposed to be at 15:00 and the room was available only at 16:45. My room was a single right in front of the stairs and lift it was noise all night, under my room it was a fountain running water all night. In my house I have bathrooms bigger then my room. Really bad experience, never again

Great location and breakfast included. Room was quite clean.

Beds and blankets are uncomfortable. Sheets have holes in them. Bathroom had mold. Room door leaks light & sound from the corridor. No AC so room is really hot.

Outstanding location

The location is fantastic, close to shops, food, and the river/lake. There was also a breakfast and the staff were very helpful.

The bathroom was not clean and the shower was very small. There was also no AC and only one fan barely worked.

Good location

The location was great, close to the station and attractions. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was good as it was included in the price.

The rooms were too warm and despite two fans in one room and one in the other, the temperature was uncomfortably warm which made sleeping difficult. The reception was left unattended for periods which meant we had to wait 10 minutes or so to check out.

We know there was no air conditioning, but rooms were very hot, even with fans, especially the single room. Had to keep windows open, and street, people noise was loud, so hard to sleep. But, I guess that is the trade off for good location

Dated hotel in need of full renovation. No air conditioner, room was so hot with limited ventilation. A miserable fan was provided that showed room temperature between 30 to 31 degrees celcius.

Breakfast was basic but nice. Dinner at the Peruvian restaurant was excellent.

Bathroom door was glass, so any time someone used it during nighttime it lit up the entire hotel room when we were trying to sleep. No AC. The hotel provided fans; fortunately it wasn't terribly hot.

The location is really good. But the condition of room was not good, it didn’t make stay comfortable. And noise were really bad.. though the clerk was so kind and breakfast was fine. Those are points that i can feel warm there.

the proximity to the train station and the city. breakfast was included. we were able to put our bags in our room prior to actual check in time

Very satisfied stay in Luzern

Staffs were very nice that allowed us to have an early check-in. The room was spacious and tidy. It's better to take a bus ride to the hotel (about 3 stops) from the main station if you're carrying the luggages. Key attractions in Luzern were in a walk distance (5-10 minute walk from the hotel, depending on the attractions). Breakfast was well-served.

Very uncomfortable beds, dirty bathtub designed not to shower in it.

Location is very good

It is not clean, pillows are a joke, they disappear when you put your head on them. Bathroom is another joke, there is a bathtub in bathroom and it is specially designed to make showering uncomfortable. It is so small yet has two levels in it, so you have to put one leg in the lower part, and another leg in the higher part. It was so dirty as well so I couldn't step on it without slipper (which is not provided by the hotel) Who is still using shower curtains in 2023?
