Holiday Inn Express - Luzern - Kriens by IHG

The hotel was very comfortable and well located, with easy access to transport links, making it convenient to explore Luzern and the surrounding areas. The rooms were clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was also a nice addition and provided a good start to the day.

Considering it was a Holiday Inn Express, the hotel offered great value for money. The only minor areas for improvement were the limited storage space in the room and the lack of a few extra amenities such as a mini fridge, slippers, or additional bathroom items. These were small points and did not affect the overall comfort of our stay.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to a train station, just 2 stops away from Lucerne, and 6 bus stops away from the Pilates cable car station. The area is very safe and quiet, with a Migros grocery store across the square. The hotel provides a visitor's pass for free bus and train travel within Lucerne city limits. The room was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. The continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with expresso coffee, yogurt, muesli, juices, pastries, jam, eggs, cured meats, cheeses, and more. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious and close to the train station. Breakfast was good. I didn't like the rice because it doesn't seem to be cooked all the way.

I didn't like that the shower did not have a whole door. The water got everywhere on the floor because the shower was cover half of the shower.
