    We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Luzern - Kriens for one night during our Switzerland trip. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient for a short stay. Our room was modern and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also convenient for getting around the Lucerne area, especially if you are travelling by car or public transport. Breakfast had a good selection and was a nice start to the day. Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient place to stay near Lucerne.

    Perfect hotel to explore Luzern city. Hotel is two stops (5mins) away from Lucern city at Kriens station. From station, hotel is 5mins walk away. Friendly and helpful staff, Room was clean and spacious, Breakfast had lots of choice. Hotel give tourist pass for free, so that covers majority of the areas, except Mt Titlis and Pilatus. But you can buy ticket from the station where tourist pass stop working, so that saves a bit of money. Getting off at Kriens saves a bit of time too (no need to go all the way to Lucern station and return). I would like to stay here.

    I booked out a 3 nights stay. It was my first ever visit to Switzerland and I’ve been around the world and with Holiday Inn specifically in Krabi which was excellent. I was shocked to see marks on the bedsheet linen on the second night (was too tired to notice the first night). I suspect it was bed bugs marks (it changed color when I dabbed it with wet tissue - as if blood) on the bedsheet and as soon as I spotted them (several by the way under the pillow and right on the bed) I asked for a room change at 11pm. I was transferred to the opposite room but the views were crap. The bigger issue was if it was really bed bugs, I did sleep the first night on the bed and was so worried if my clothes were all cross contaminated. I requested the hotel several times for consideration and the staff simply said it’s from the laundry and kept asking if I’m feeling itchy?? For real? It was very psychologically disturbing experience for me and ruined my trip, I couldn’t go to Mount Titlis and see snow that I wanted to because I was busy packing unpacking and checking my luggage inspecting if it’s infected. The hotel didn’t even offer to sanitize or laundry my clothes for me - said the costs will be on me because according to them it’s nothing? It’s totally their fault for these unhygienic facilities or marks even for that matter (it wasn’t mascara for sure) and no housekeeping staff came back to me and ever confirmed that it was nothing even though I had asked for it. I repeatedly had to go to the managers for reassurance and I didn’t feel like I ever got the full picture here with what was it really. The hotel is also not in main Lucerne so you need to take this train for commuting which runs every 15 mins but it gets really eerie out there in the later evening hours. I don’t think I will ever stay at a holiday inn again in my life - very very disappointed.
