Fantastic view and expectations exceeded

Very small shower would be inconvenient for large persons. No elevator (mentioned in the description, you can ask for a room on a lower floor).

Great location at a reasonable price. Had what we needed for a short stay.

We had chosen this modest 2-star hotel for its location and for the budget price (compared to other local hotels) so we were not expecting luxury. The room was small & basic but everything was adequate. It was fine for a short stay. There were no drawers or doors on the cupboards in the bedroom; very little space for toiletries etc in the bathroom - and the beds were a bit too soft for our taste - but the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel served our purposes just fine. However, there was a lot of noise from people in the nearby park at night.

It's fine if you need a last-minute crash pad, but I wouldn't pick this hotel for a holiday. The amenities are the kond of stuff we find in homes, which adds to a homely feeling ; no standardised "bathroom pod" etc.

It felt cheap, and the building is a maze. For half of the rooms you have to go out in the street and re-enter the building to have breakfast. The mattress was too soft for me. There are 2 dispensers in the shower, but it's a mystery as to what's in them.

very clean. quiet location (near the cathedral, so Bells heard, but not overly loud. decent wifi.

A lot of stairs. no elevator. no air conditioning, room got a little stuffy without window open (autumn stay). Have previously stayed in Summer, that was pretty uncomfortable without aircon.

Extra small room

- Location - view on cathedrale - apart from the fact that the bed is short - we slept ok!

- size of the room, really small, hardly possible to be in the room with 2 people. To sit on the toilet you have to maneuver your way and once you sit you can't move anymore. - bed is super short, I am 1,75m and my feet stuck out - wifi with the laptop was poor. - no airco (but the hotel does mention that), no lift :) and the window didn't close anymore - smell in the building, and in the bathroom, but I guess it's just old...
