Reception is off the street. I was late, but, was provided with key code to get in. All good. Reception open until eight; keycode and key thereafter. Breakfast room downstairs is big and bright. Very good breakfast. Good waitresses. Bedroom is big and very smart. Very masculine. Black and white ‘industrial’. Very clean and tidy. Big bed with very nice clean linen. Good pillows. Two round bedside tables. One with a lamp. Overhead wall lights. Desk & chair. Comfy chair. What I presume is sofa bed/chair. Table and two chairs. Open fronted wardrobe with fridge & safe. Hangers. Full length mirror. Plenty of plug sockets. Big tele. Big black curtains. Industrial style standard lamp. Heating was OK. Sliding door between bedroom and the shower room. Shower room is big, bright and clean. Smart. Big walk in shower. Single headed shower. Big sink and big mirror. Good towels. Toilet is off the shower room. Big, bright and clean. Soft close toilet seat and good paper! Shelf to put your phone on! Has its own light. WIFI is OK.

Two single beds pushed and zipped together. The big zipper at the bottom was an issue as I kept kicking it; but, I am six foot plus. Mattress topper needed. Single use soaps and small plastic bottles of gel; I used stuff I’d already got. No complimentary water in the fridge.

Amazing hotel in fantastic location

Fantastic location - walking distance to all the main sights. Friendly staff with some fantastic local recommendations. Lovely, quiet rooms. Secure parking (booked in advance). Great breakfast. Plus our dog could stay.

We had a great stay.

We only stayed one night, but everything was quite smooth and clean. The staff were nice and amenable. Good parking too. It is only five minutes walk to the cathedral, ten minutes if you stroll.

A great find at a fair price

The cleanliness and of the room, the bathroom size, the aircon. The buffet breakfast - nice and quite complete, with quality products. The very lovely staff.

Superb

Location was near the centre and also a short walk to the river. Parking in underground park just up from the hotel. Staff and breakfast were great.

Good quality for the money with a great location.

The hotel is well located to both the city centre or a quick walk to the river. We chose parking on site for ease of use for one night. We stayed for two. Room was clean, bathroom spacious and well laid out. Toilet shower and sink are all one. With large windows we were able to do a light wash and hang to dry in the window and patio door off our bedroom. Internet was unfortunately horrid with loss every several minutes and a pain to sign up again -- it would not recognise. Normally not an issue but I had further planning to do for the next several days of our trip. Breakfast was good quality with jams and bread/buns scrumptious. We were on the 3rd floor so the walk was not bad. Price and location were our main target and we attained that.

Staff were hit and miss. Breakfast does not start until 8:00 so if you are leaving early you have to make alternate arrangements.

Short but adequate for an overnight stop en route to Brittany.

Centrally located- in sight of the cathedral. Breakfast was excellent.Secure (payable) parking on site.

The room was a bit Spartan although clean and everything worked. No mirror apart from a small one over the basin- disappointing.No tea or coffee making equipment- a pity.

Fawlty Towers 😐

Nothing really stands out

The main issue was that, despite advertising parking on-site, we were denied a parking spot because we hadn't pre-booked one. I found a space about 50m from the hotel on the side of the road. The car-park, which we could see from the corridor window outside our room (see photo below), was not full, up to 11pm that evening, bearing in mind check-in finished at 8pm, it seems just unpleasant to refuse us a space when there were at least 3 spaces that were free. Having denied us a parking place, the manageress then proceeded to tell us that we must remove everything from our car as it was a dodgy area, very Basil Fawlty.... as you can imagine, that was a lot of carrying and a lot of worry overnight. I didn't really sleep due to a combination of concern for the safety of my car and the god-awful racket from outside until the early hours of the morning. When I next visit Rouen, I will be staying elsewhere.

A very comfy and convenient hotel in Rouen

We were able to leave our luggage despite arriving 3 hours before check-in time, they had already responded to my email warning of our early arrival acknowledging that we could gain access to the hotel. From the start the staff were very helpful the man in charge offered to carry our bags to the room - we are in our 70s and they were heavy. The woman who initially greeted us not only gave us a map but pointed out the most interesting sights. The room was clean, the bathroom roomy, the bed comfy, the breakfast plentiful and delicious.

we spent an enjoyable and relaxing night in Rouen

Unfortunately i made an incorrect booking and so we didn't get breakfast included so it cost €26 They said we had a room upgrade instead but it was still pretty basic. Secure parking was good but €15. The staff were very helpful. LOcation - quiet and central

Pleasant

The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the location was great, very close to the theatre and some restaurants. The private parking is helpful too, at €15 per night.

The bathroom was very small, and the room wasn't fully clean (bins not emptied from previous occupant for example) and the bed wasn't very comfortable. For a simple place to stay it's ok here, and wonderfully friendly staff.

we loved everything! the room was perfect loads of space for our dog! we got a free room upgrade which we were so pleased with! the man on the front desk was so polite and his English was fantastic!!!! the hotel was welcoming for us and our dog!

Cozy stay in the heart of Rouen

It was lovely stay. The room is spacious, cozy and very clean. Great location for sightseeing in Rouen. A lady receptionist was very gentle and kind to help us. She recommended some nice traditional French restaurants nearby. We had simple but tasty breakfast.
