Would stay there again.

We requested a room change as there was not a walk-in shower. As we are in our seventies, we prefer to have walk-in shower, much safer. Breakfast was always freshly prepared and there was great coffee. Lovely view over the lake. Great restaurant right by hotel. Best house red wine ever.

Amazing

The hotel is amazing, literaly in the center of the beautiful town. Big room, with a gourgeous lake view. Delicious brakfast, near the lake. You can even relax in the swings in the backyard and on the dock. The staf is very frindly and always ready to help you with anything you need

Amazing stay!

Extremely good location and super helpful and friendly staff! Rooms were nice with lots of storage, beds were very comfortable. Big breakfast buffet with typical Italian foods offered. Would 100% recommend when going to Sirmione!!

The hotel was in a great location, right on the lake. The car park was quite small but very well managed. The staff were lovely and anytime we wanted a drink they were happy to get them. The gardens are gorgeous, there were lots of places to sit and relax and watch the world go by. They have lots of places inside to sit as well. The rooms are lovely and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the town. Breakfast was an amazing spread.

Superb

The people are super friendly, and the location is simply a dream. From the balcony, we could see the large, and we extremely enjoyed the little pier with the reclining chairs. All restaurants and bars are super close, but the rooms are really quiet.

Basic but comfortable and in a good location

This hotel was basic but provided all the necessary amenities - it was clean, comfortable, and my room was quiet, so I was satisfied. I booked at the last minute so there were not so many options in my price range. Location was very good - practically next to the Aquaria spa, and not in the busiest area of the historic center (which was MUCH more crowded than I expected for September!) Breakfast was basic but adequate - more fruit would have been nice. Pleasant to sit outside in the garden for breakfast. Overall it was really fine.

As others have said, the description of the room having a "panoramic view" of the lake was laughable! It's true that if I stood out on the little balcony, there was a pretty good view of the lake but not by any stretch was it panoramic. In fact there were only two rooms where the window was completely facing the lake. But overall it wasn't that big a deal. TV didn't have a single English language channel set, so I didn't bother with it, although I usually like to be able to see the news.

Great stay, recommend!

We stayed in a garden view room and it was great. Clean and spacious enough for two people. There's a mini fridge but no tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms and hotel are a bit dated in their decor generally but it's still very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, a standard Italian hotel breakfast. There were seats outside by the lake too. There's also some sun loungers available for guests to use the by the lake. The location is great, about 5 minutes walk from the castle.

The shower on our bathroom was set in the wall very low, only slightly higher than the top of the bath. This made it a but difficult to shower but wasn't so bad.

Rooms simple but we’re clean & had everything needed, inc small fridge-and the balcony with lake side-views was a bonus. Breakfast good except more fresh fruit would be better. Very rare to have parking inside sirmione, costs 12€ per day.

Slamming doors all along the corridor needs addressing.. More fresh fruit at breakfast Parking was a challenge, to be expected inside sirmione. Having to wake hosts to be let in if coming back late at night.

One night in Sirmione historical center. Amazing terrace

Amazing location, having breakfast on the terrace is just dream-like The hotel looks a bit old fashion, but it's charming. The bathroom could do a bit of a renovation and the doors are a bit thin, we go woken up by hearing in the morning other guests leaving. Our room was very large, with beautiful vintage furniture and the beds were large and super comfortable. In general it was a beautiful experience and the breakfast was really nice.

Location is excellent on lakeside opposite one of the finest restaraunts and great clothing boutiques and up the end a very short distance to parkland and the point for the lake beaches. This hotel is uniquely a Time Capsule almost of its in situ 1950’s origins it’s only missing Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez. Loved the mid century interiors and the generous tree shaded courtyard down to lakeside for breakfast or an aperitif which could be arranged. The mid century pond and outdoor furniture! Breakfast staff very friendly Tge coffee requests were graciously abided by and remembered for the next days. Our lovely refined owner! Who is the grandsughter of the original owner builder…. Grazie Signore we miss you. If you are used to absolute luxury and want that you may not feel as excited by this as we were but we’ve tasted every type of accomodation there is and we loved it here for its aesthaetic and convenient location and unpretentious authenticity and kind staff very personable staff actually. It’s not always the case in the most ooh la la hotels. If they had an aperitif bar in the evenings and played up the 1950’s to 1970’s theme it would be sensational. Keep it a secret though ….
