Hotel Smeraldo

Everything was wonderful during our stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. The quality-price ratio is excellent, offering great value for money. We truly enjoyed our experience and felt very welcome throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again in the future.

The location of this hotel is excellent, what a beautiful place. The hotel itself is OK but could be so much better with some simple changes. The room was nice, big and clean and we found the beds comfortable. The maid came daily and we didn't really have any complaints on that front. The rest of the experience fell short.

The b/fast was the worst I've come across. The eggs are cooked with a strong cheese, the ham tasted of chlorine and the pastries were hard. We stuck to the granola and yoghurt and couldn't eat anything else. There is a big slab of blue cheese out daily, uncovered and the smell of this hits you as soon as you come downstairs. It made the b/fast experience even more unpleasant. I never saw one person eat it. The staff seem flustered even though there isn't that much going on and when you request a coffee they seem put out. There is a tree in the middle of the room and the roots are lifting all the tiles up. There is a lot of brown furniture and not enough sunbeds. The children's pool was filthy. Overall, there is no effort put in to make the outside space welcoming which is such a shame. The sister hotel is better across the road but there are similar issues there too.
