Nice little hotel not far from the lake

The roomsize is typical of European hotels. The bathroom was a bit small but functional. The view of the lake from the balcony was amazing but I'm sure it would be very hot to sit out there in the summer. In October, it was fine. The bed is comfortable, the room is quiet and very clean.

The bedside lamp was totally useless if you wanted to read in bed.

A perfect location for exploring Sirmione and Lake Garda.

The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The room we had was spacious, the bed comfortable and the room was always kept very clean. The air conditioning in the room was very efficient. There was always plenty of hot water for the shower, which worked well. The included breakfast was very good with an excellent selection of hot and cold drinks and cold food in the buffet, such as cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, etc. We had ten varieties of fruit on offer most mornings, plus a good selection of bread products and home-made cakes each day. The hotel location was superb, just a 10-minute walk from Sirmione's main square, cobbled streets, numerous restaurants, shops and the ferry port to the south and Villa Callas, Jamaica Beach and the ruins of the grand ancient Roman villa complex to the north.

The decor of the hotel is rather dated it is true and the electrical fittings in the room were very old-fashioned. Sometimes the lights on the landing didn't work and the lift is slow, but none of these things bothered us at all. They all added to its charm in a way.

The room was comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the hotel is well situated. The staff were very welcoming and professional regarding any of our queries.

The plastic shower curtain needed replacing. Overall, the bathroom was small and might not suit a large or older person.

Good breakfast and localization. Good service, very nice and polite workers. It’s clear that the room service comes regularly to clean the rooms and maintain cleanliness.

Rooms are outdated. Also we didn’t like smell in rooms. They use some irritating fragnances. Even though it’s clear that the rooms are regularly cleaned, the outdated décor really affects the overall impression. You can tell they haven’t been renovated in a long time, which gives the place a worn and aged feeling.

Excellent place to stay in Sirmione!

Great place to stay in Sirmione. The location was ideal- really short walk to the bus stop/ferry, but also close to a lovely beach/swimming area. Not right in the centre so not so busy. The breakfast was great (even options for vegans, including different alternative milk), loved the fresh fruit, bread, and making freshly squeezed orange juice from the machine. The breakfast area was also great. Staff were friendly and helpful, and always said hi and bye to us :) Loved having a balcony we could sit out on, though next time we’d pay extra for the lake view. Air con was good!

There was a razor left in our bathroom from the previous owner, and our door left open one day after being cleaned. These weren’t major issues and we didn’t feel we needed to mention them as I know staff would have been apologetic, but maybe a reminder for staff to check after being in the rooms.

Very nice holiday with excellent breakfast

Very good breakfast with freshmade orange juice, fresh fruits and cooked options. Very friendly staff. The hotel is located at the end of the pedestrian area where it gets less crowded but is still very close to the busy center. We parked our car at Grifo parking - all organised by the hotel. The service with the shuttle from parking to the hotel at arrival and back at departure worked excellent. Our room was on the second floor and it was located in the corner of the building and thus had a very large balcony around the corner. Therefore we even had a view on the lake although it wasn't an explicit lake view room.

The room was not so well insulated against sound so that one could hear the cleaning machine on the street in the morning and the delivery vehicles. But after 2 nights we got accustomed to it.

Great room, balcony and location.

Lovely room, really comfortable beds, lots of natural light and a brilliant balcony. We paid extra for a lake view, and you couldn't really see much of the lake, but it was still a nice view and not overlooked so worth paying for it if you can afford. The breakfast was tasty and great to have it included. Staff were really helpful and friendly. It was right next to the thermal spa which I'd also highly recommend.

It was a bit confusing getting the bus from the train station as the websites said we only needed one bus but were made to change part way - which wasn;t a bit deal and our ticket was still valid, just meant a bit more waiting around. The taxi we got back to the station was pretty expensive so something to factor in if you need one.

An Outstanding Hotel in the very heart of Sirmione

A spectacular hotel located right in the very historic centre of Sirmione, across the street from the biggest spa. The room was very nice and functional with free water bottles provided daily. The best thing about the stay for the insane breakfast, easily best breakfast I have ever had in any 3 star hotel. An incredible selection of fresh fruits, an option to make a fresh orange juice, homemade cakes which could not be compared to the typical supermarket cakes and simple croissants, selection of nuts and juices etc etc.

good location within sirmione. In the centre but not too noisy at night. Very good breakfast with scrambled eggs, fresh cakes, fresh orange juice and fresh strawberries and blueberries. Had a coffee machine. Espresso coffee to order would have elevated it to be excellent

I booked a “lake view” room. I would describe it as an obstructed or partial lake view at best. The pictures only showed their rooms with the best views. So it was a bit deceptive. I wouldn’t have paid the price I did for a partial lake view. I expected the room to match the pictures. Staff member explained that apparently all the rooms on the lake side of the hotel are considered “lake view” despite some of them hardly being able to see the lake and others have outstanding views of the lake. So booking a lake view room is a gamble whether you’re a lucky one (get what you paid for in the pictures) or a dud. Staff member also told me they can’t control whether other hotels are built in front of them obstructing their view of the lake…but these hotels looked like they’d been there decades. What a ridiculous argument. I booked the lake view room which had a complimentary upgrade as part of my genius account on booking. So they tried to tell me I hadn’t actually booked a lake view and that it was just a free upgrade. So should I not expect to receive what I have booked because you’ve offered a promotion? In the end they wouldn’t admit it wasn’t a lake view as advertised but did allow me to reduce my nights of stay. I think they need to introduce different room types on the lake side of the property: “full lake view” and “partial or obstructed lake view”. Otherwise guests should book with caution! Lobby and rooms were a bit tired as well. Place appeared to have almost no money put into it in a long time. Nothing to do with the hotel, but sirmione is sooo crowded, touristy and expensive. Go to lake Como for a more romantic experience

Extremely enjoyable stay .

The breakfast was excellent with a vast choice to choose from. All aided by the excellent ever attentive breakfast ladies who work to a very high standard. The location could not be better, close to everything, yet very quiet to enable a noise free sleep. The staff at reception were very helpful and always there if you needed them. The cleaning staff did a great job and were in every day. The owner should be congratulated on running this excellent establishment and for first class recruitment of super staff. .

I would have liked a bar but I knew there wasn't one before I booked.
