Entire Victorian Lodge in a privately gated estate with secure parking for two cars and a newly refurbished bathroom

The property is in a gated estate entrance which opens automatically, except overnight when a code is required. This sits half way up a very steep hill above Bath on a regular bus route (15m) that goes to the town centre and University, with field and city views out of the front bedroom. There is a CO-OP at the bottom of the hill and ample parking for two cars, a small terraced area and bench. Well equipped Kitchen, laundry room and ample tableware. The property remained largely cool in what was a record breaking week for temperature.

We struggled to get cool water out of the shower and bath and hope that William will be able to resolve this quickly (there was plenty of hot, and cold to all other sinks). Whilst the bulk of the house stays cool during the day, the bunk bed room is in a corner sun trap - very useful for drying clothes, and probably keeps warm in Winter, but we wouldn't have been able to use it in the current heat wave - the two main bedrooms were absolutely fine.

Location for visiting Bath was excellent. Beds were very comfortable.

Only 4 mugs included in the kitchen, one of which had a large chip out of it. Not something I would expect to see. The cleanliness of the property was not the greatest. The amount of dust on 2 of the bedside tables indicated it had not been throughly cleaned before our arrival. Bed linen was clean but did not appear to have been pressed.

TV was the most complicated thing to operate, never did find live TV to watch news. Very hot upstairs in this heat wave, but that is nature of building.
