Comfortable, perfectly clean and good value

It was lovely and clean- beds very comfortable and crisp, white bed linen and towels. We were a bit worried following a couple of reviews but it was absolutely fine and I would recommend. Everything we needed was there.

Its not ultra modern- and an old property so not going to be immaculate- but we were very happy with it. The driveway is slightly awkward but was fine and it was a 20-30 min walk down the hill to the centre of town, 15 mins to the university - about £15 for an Uber from town back up the hill

Excellent location and stay overall.

Apart from a mild ladybug infestation and some dirty dishes, the stay was very comfortable and clean. Would stay again.

TV was the most complicated thing to operate, never did find live TV to watch news. Very hot upstairs in this heat wave, but that is nature of building.

Location was great. The size of the property was really good value for money too. The host was very responsive, friendly and helpful with any questions/requests we had.

It needs a deep clean, especially in the bathroom. There were stains on the walls and carpets. The mirrors weren’t clean either.

Lovely character property in Bath

Fantastic location and character property surrounded by green and with wonderful views of Bath. The house is spacious and warm. The beds very comfortable. Secure parking. Perfect for people enjoying walking in nature. 20 min pleasant walk down to town.

Superb Cottage

Fabulous cottage, very comfortable and well appointed. All amenities in place with crispy linen. Just as in the images. We (a family of 4 with 2 adult daughters) felt like we were back in time. Good location at just a 20 min walk from the train n bus station. William, the host was very responsive at all times. Don't think twice if you find it available....Go for it if you're ok to walk an uphill road or have a car.

Absolutely Fantastic , bloody ripper Thank you

Wow. After a week of extreme disappointment and horror This house & town were a god send . Thank you. Quiet. Relaxed. & Comfortable Can walk to town. Even my 82 yr old mother did it once. lol walk down is all down hill. Would never attempt walking up. But steep for me and my lungs. Bus is only hourly so knowing that would have saved us a lot in Ubers. lol Hope it helps someone else The Lemon Bus Blonde lady who drove it Wednesday 14 th May. You. Went above & Beyond . Would like firmer pillows 🤷‍♀️. Feather down pillows are lovely but a bit soft for my liking That’s. The only down side and it’s not really a complaint. Only a suggestion & we may be the only ones who like firmer pillows. Oh & maybe ask your cleaners to really give the home the credit it deserves. And always keep the detailed cleaning up. It’s just a lovely lodge. No really bad comments.

Had a great stay and easy to walk into the city centre

Easy to collect keys and property very roomy. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots and pans etc.

Extremely disappointing and no evidence of a deep clean claimed by the owner.

Good distance from the centre of Bath

Cut short our stay by 2 days as the kitchen (particularly the oven) was dirty. Filthy tea towel left and no clean ones in sight. Large bundles of dirty washing left in the utility room and bags of rubbish out the back. Bathroom door off its hinge so wouldn't shut. Heating was erratic and a cold house was the last straw. We felt celebrating the New Year there was too depressing.

Perfect 🤩

What a lovely surprise, this house was nice and warm and clean. There was a selection of condiments and tea/coffee/ hot chocolate and bathing products too. And NETFLIX too. Wow. The whole house was so amazing and it was a shame we couldn't stay longer, we're feeling sad now!

The house is very comfortable, with excellent amenities. Plenty of space, privacy in bedrooms, a cozy living room, and a well stocked kitchen.

The house is at the top of a steep hill, and it takes a bit of practice to park a car next to the house. Not difficult once one has the hang of it, but a little daunting.

Loved it!!

Beautiful old lodge, excellent view over Bath. Comfy bedding and fully working kitchen. We were able to access all Bath attractions on foot during stay without needing to drive, but beware the hill to get back home at end of busy day!!

TV channels not available, netflicks only working one night. Minor point during our stay.

Exceptional

It was a beautiful, fully equipped house. It really is a home from home. We wished we could have stayed longer. I would book again, regardless of the little fact the hill walk back was difficult for little legs. Easily solved - a taxi! I'll know for next time. Only because me & the children had done so much walking around exploring during the day our back & legs were aching by that point.! The walk into town is lovely. Bath & the the house are a lovely place to be. We enjoyed our stay at the house, & the bus tours, worthwhile! Thank you.

Generally a good, comfortable stay but simple attention to detail could have made it better.

Good location, space and comfortable stay for a couple of days break close to the historic city of Bath and directly on the Bath Skyline Walk with excellent views over the city and surrounding hills. Good choice of movies available on disc with Netflix also available.

Living areas and bedrooms generally good but cleanliness let down by attention to detail in critical areas like the bathroom and kitchen. The washing machine and dryer were full of laundry and the freezer had no free space as it was full of food/ice. Dirty pan left in the dishwasher.

Nothing really although it is up an extremely steep hill walking down was easy and after a night out it was only £6 for the Taxi
