lovely stay. would recommend

we would have liked the beds to be made up as doubles as we had booked the whole property. it would have been nice to not just have single beds when there was an option to join them

A wonderful house in a superb central location. Thoroughly recommend.

The room sizes were great for our group of 10 adults. The decor was lovely and the house very well equipped and comfortable. Its location is so close to the long stay parking and the city centre.

As a Bath town house it is over 4 floors so with some older guests the stairs were a little challenging, but this was not unexpected.

Not good value for money, and a disappointing stay.

The location was very central, as described. There was plenty of fridge / freezer storage. The bed linen and towels were clean and fresh. It had a homely feel.

A few of the beds weren’t adult sized - only suitable for children - so described as a 15 bed house is very misleading. The basement bedroom smelt strongly of damp and the en-suite shower room to it was dirty. The cleaner was still making the beds and hoovering when we checked in at 3pm (the agreed time). Some of the beds weren’t comfortable to the point that one of my friends slept on the sofa in the lounge. There wasn’t enough seating in the lounge for 15 of us to sit and chat comfortably. How the bedroom layout was described on the website was very different to the actual layout. The outside courtyard area was dull and needed some fresh paint, and the bench seating had peeling paint, and a few cushions on it would have helped. The little touches that make a difference - like having no soap in the showers (was disappointing). All in all, disappointing.

Great cycle tour stop over

Great place to stay on a cycle tour through Bath. Lovely house. Good kitchen. Able to store eight bikes in the back yard. Comfy clean beds. Great bathrooms. Short walk into town. Close to National Cycle Route 4.

Excellent location. Great property for a large family.

Perfect location to explore Bath. Plenty of room for a large family with a very well equipped kitchen, full size table, large lounge area, numerous bathrooms and lots of bedroom options. The hosts were well organized and accessing the propery was easy. Parking is ~3 mins walk away which is good for the center of Bath. Lots of things to do within five minutes walk.

Overall the property is in very good condition but there are a couple of worn items like loose door knobs and small stains on the carpet in high traffic area (very minor issues). Visitors should be aware that the property is 4 floors with the kitchen in the basement so people with limited mobility should plan ahead.

If we were to return to Bath, we would definitely stay here again. Enough said!!

Huge, well presented townhouse. 5 minute walk to the shops, cafes & pubs. Long stay car park 100 yards away. House decorated to a high standard. Spotlessly clean. Friendly & speedy comms with owner. If we were to visit Bath again we would definitely return to this property.
