Location was perfect for our requirements. Cottage was warm and comfortable with everything you need and good instructions for how things worked. Main bedroom was lovely and spacious.
Parking although easily fits 2 cars was a little awkward when we arrived due to another vehicle parked nearby. Also uneven broken paving where you park.

Spacious for three people; the gas fireplace was nice to have during Christmas; comfortable bed; dishwasher. Would I come back? Unfortunately, no.
We booked this place to spend Christmas. Although we inquired at the beginning of December about a Christmas tree, none was provided, to the utter surprise and disappointment of our child. Had we known, we would have brought our own.
The place looked clean on the surface, but we found a used towel hanging on the door in one of the bedrooms, and the cooking pots were clearly not properly cleaned. Two of the small bedrooms were extremely cold, even with the heating on all day, so we all had to sleep in the main bedroom. Thankfully, the bed there was large enough.

Simple instructions to gain entry using a key box, code was sent in plenty of time of our arrival, this was our second stay here, so we knew how to get in and where the parking was, it's a bit tricky and easy to miss. It's very close to where we needed to be and only a short bus ride into town. It's very cosy and quirky easy instructions on how to get the heating going, kitchen was clean and had good range off cooking equipment.
if I had to be picky the sofa could really do with a clean and new cushions or none at all as they looked a bit tired.

Lovely house, good location. Great to have the parking for our car. Kitchen had good amenities. We were only there for a brief over night stay after a family function so we didn't get to fully experience all the house had to offer.
Just one thing to note - the only toilet is downstairs, not upstairs with the bedrooms.

It ticked all the boxes.
Nothing to dislike.

Nice house. It was clean, well furnished and living area was comfortable. The kitchen was quite well equipped, enough for our needs. The bathroom was good but the shower was right in the corner of the bath, so a bit awkward. We were within easy reach of Bath. We took an Uber one way and a taxi the other, both about £12. The bedrooms were nice, especially the master bedroom at the front of the house.
The smaller double bedroom was above the kitchen and the boiler. We had turned the heating down but my friend got very little sleep due to noise from the boiler and/or pipes. My other friend, in the single room, could hear it too.
We found access difficult. We arrived at the property in the dark and in heavy rain. Luckily we had driven past earlier, to make sure we knew where it was. There was an area for 2 cars, as advertised, but the kerb wasn't lowered and we were turning right across a busy main road. We then found a car already parked there. The lady sitting in it, said she was visiting a friend. We had to park on mud and broken paving slabs, because she had parked on the paved area. There were piles of paving slabs stacked up, which were barely visible in the pitch dark. We could easily have damaged the car. We had to phone the owner and ask how we actually got into the house, as we couldn't see a thing. There needs to be a light on a sensor in the parking area. Neighbours also need to be told they cannot allow guests to park there. What would have happened if we had been in 2 cars? Access to the house was through a gate and across long grass with a few stepping stones. Not ideal on a dark, wet December night.

I loved the interior which is quirky and cozy ,the space in all the rooms and the parking ,the garden was lovely ,easy to get the key when checking in
The shower was awkward to use and stand under and not a great water pressure ,the shower curtain was too long and got in the way when standing under the shower head

Perfect location for exploring Bath. Having the parking was fantastic. The little Chinese Takeaway next door was a lovely surprise and the food was excellent. Big Sainsbury's 3 mins drive away and Co-Op mini-mart within walking distance.
The mattress in the main bedroom was surprisingly bad considering how lovely everything else was. I could feel all the springs poking through. I implore the owner to either replace the mattress and / or use padded mattress protectors which will create a much more lush feel in keeping with the rest of the furnishings and decor. Also deep-fit fitted sheets would cover the mattress and again make it look as classy as everything else. Just small details but would leave a strong impression.

The property itself is stunning. It’s less than a 10 minute uber drive into town. The rooms are massive and there is so much space given the actual size of the property. We weren’t expecting to have towels or shower wash so we brought our own. But they had everything and more there for us! Towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and biscuits. We were beyond impressed. Such a stunning cottage.
Only downfall as there was 5 of us at the property was the 1 bathroom but was zero issue for only staying the one night.

Location was perfect plus the Host provides a detailed folder of what is in and around the area.
The Cottage was very clean and spacious.
Very quiet place also.
Only one thing and that is the water takes some time to warm up, which can be expected for an old cottage (not the shower though the water heated up fine).

Very clean property in a good location for us, it was well presented and the two parking spaces gave us extra space. As a family of four it was a perfect living space for 2 nights. The rooms and beds were lovely.
The travel cot provided was broken which wasn't good for our 6 month old baby who had to then co-sleep with my partner so this made things more difficult. The kitchen cooker also didn't work after we had purchased food for dinner, and the support call wasn't much use. seemed more interested in telling us about how difficult it was to manage multiple properties, not our problem. We paid a bank holiday premium for this property and to be honest both two issues mentioned above weren't really acceptable. The shower railing was also unstable in the bathroom.

- 10 minute drive out of central bath and good bus services close by.
- Roomy with 3 bedrooms.
- Easily missed entrance to property and have to hit car over high curb to get into parking area which is very rough with broken slabs.
- Oven doesn’t work so unable to use.
- Beds uncomfortable and can feel springs moving below.
- No outdoor bins to place rubbish into once full bin.
- Very dusty and stuffy to sleep in rooms.
- Very noisy as must be single glaze glass, can hear every bit of traffic going past.
- Could do with paint and flooring refresh: looks tired and dirty in areas

Good facilities, clean and tidy, good location with parking space. Buses into Bath centre. A good base to explore the city from
Proximity to the main road… a bit noisy which could be a problem if your a light sleeper. Other than that everything else was all good

Decent, clean and just ideal. We were here for just a night and it met our expectations for a comfy place to stay and rest our tired bodies. It was that time of the year when the weather gets really hot; but we had one room with a fan :-)
Confusing to find the apartment initially. We drove around the busy roundabout thrice before giving up and I decided to drive into an open area behind a house we didnt know who owned so I could walk along the street to find the property by number. Apparently I had parked behind the property I was looking for. The numbered "front" entrance is actually the rear entrance or the other way round. Thanks to having to put a call to the vendor when the key box at the "front entrance" did not open with the code provided.
I suggest the vendor puts up photos to future users showing the entrance to the apartment driveway (car park). This should ease any anxiety locating the house.

The location was great. Very close to central Bath, google maps found it without difficulty, Roomy place with a nice front yard, large living area and kitchen.
A bit of a nit pick, but you have to drive over the curb to enter the parking area. This caused me to miss the entrance the first time as I was looking for the let down to drive over, and there wasn't one. This was not an issue other than the first time.

Primary bedroom was spacious.
The house is on a very busy and loud road that you can hear all night long from the primary bedroom. There was also construction right next door that started at 8 am on both mornings.
The yard was overgrown with garbage in the bushes.
Water pressure in the shower was very low. The one bathroom is located right off the kitchen.
The washing machine wouldn’t turn on and we couldn’t access the outlet because of a lock on the cabinet door. Management wouldn’t come check it out or provide the code to the lock to let us check for ourselves. After trying to get it to work, the clothes in the machine were all wet with really smelly water. We ended up having to put the wet, smelly clothes in a plastic bag and take them with us when we left.
There was only half a roll of toilet paper provided for five people for two nights. Management did not respond to our request for more.

The parking, three good bedrooms
A little noisy from the road but no big deal, the fridge smelled of onions

This is my second stay, I tried a few places in town centre but will definitely come back to rush hill in future visits to see my daughter at university.
Very comfortable beds, parking, garden area, tv easy to use and very clean.
My only comment would be that there is no dressing table/ mirror to do hair/make up, I improvised.

TVs in every room, including the bathroom!
Comfortable furniture and bedding.
Very accommodating with early check in!
Very close to town center and local facilities
The shower water pressure wasn't very strong.
The front yard landscaping wasn't very well maintained for our little kids to run around.

The house is really big and nice.
It took us some time to find this house.

The mattresses on the beds were wonderful - this is frequently a low point on rental properties, so was a welcome surprise. Whilst we actually didn't really take advantage (we were there mainly to visit a nearby village), the location for someone focusing on Bath itself would have been excellent. It was nice to have the chance to sit in the garden too.
The TV seemed to give concerts or bad movies, no matter what the channel claimed to be, so we eventually gave up on it. Frankly, the house was hard to find, given there is no dropped kerb and no other sign: I think we drove past it about 3 times! I don't think the suspension on the car has forgiven me yet. The kitchen could have been cleaner: I washed a few things before I cooked.

Very clean. Lots of hot water and heating very efficient.
Would have been easier if host could share key code via phonemail/text as the phone number was included on the booking form and not the email details. Received the code via email only, and as I did not have access to my emails while travelling that was a slight issue.
Also main bedroom door cannot be opened from outside if shut- we were lucky that there was someone in the room to enable us to get access into the room, but we had to wake them up. This needs to be fixed and guests warned that the door is not operable from the outside landing area.

Very cute place, loads of blankets and decently stocked kitchen. Nice bathtub and generally cozy place to stay in for a few days. Good location, close to shops, chippies, and not too far from the centre.
Mattress in the master bedroom could do with a refresh, and the parking spaces were a bit tricky to get up to, but overall a great place.
7.0 / 10.0
Good to have the whole house to ourselves. Bath tub and bathroom was great, nice big tub to relax in. Fairly well stocked kitchen (although cutlery drawer opens into a wall. Host allowed us a late check out to compensate for the gas fire not working.
Gas fire in the front room didn't work. The host compensated us by allowing us a late checkout, but it was still disappointing to not have the fire working as that was a main selling point. No exhaust fan or range hood in the kitchen. The slightest amount of smoke from cooking set off all three smoke alarms in the house. Bed in the master bedroom is uncomfortable and sagging. Towels provided need to be bigger, it was like drying yourself with something only slightly bigger than a tea towel. This is an easy fix and it is the small things like this that are the difference between just a place to stay and a nice comfortable romantic getaway.

a small welcome pack and a few more standard generic condiments would have been useful.
