There is only one bathroom. An additional toilet on the ground floor would be ideal for groups.

All in all would recommend and certainly suited our needs for a family of 4

Great location, good communication on how to find and access the property, definitely met our needs for our stay of 2 nights. A nice building next to a playing field which is very popular for dog walkers.

Could have done with a lick of paint (even a corner of mould on the wall in one of the bedrooms), a bit dusty/cobwebby in areas and some of the pots/glasses had to be cleaned before we used them, none of which particularly bothered us but may others.

Ok, but needs a refresh and proper clean.

Good location, 4 beds in the house, had a washing machine. Communication was good after the booking was made. Comfy master bed.

The property needs a proper deep clean. You can see what has been done in the surface but as a whole, not up to standard considering they charge you extra for cleaning. Skirting boards were filthy, sofa cushions stained and well used. I specifically choose this property as it had a washing machine. The clothes line however is at the bottom of the garden, under a large tree in full shade, covered in old leaves and cobwebs. Completely unusable and neglected. Very disappointing

Not renovated at all! Avoid booking this house!

Quiete location. Parking at the house. Top check-in and check-out instructions. 3 bedrooms. Good price.

I booked more than 50 times via booking.com but was never so upset. The headline says „newly renovated“ but this is simply a lie. The truth is shown on the pictures below. Disgusting. I was ashamed to let my family stay here. The house itself is lovely in general but urgently needs to be renovated. Or change at least the headline!

Lovely house, no contact with anyone during our stay, contact at the end unnecessarily rude.

The property was lovely. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a short break. There was also a lovely little garden that we enjoyed spending time in in the evenings. We had thought it was closer to Bath than it is but it wasn’t a problem as we had the car.

There was nothing about the property that we didn’t like however there was a less than ideal end to our stay caused by the attitude of the staff. We were ready to leave before 10am, the checkout time, but I had to drive my daughter back to her student accommodation, as she had spent some time with us after her graduation. The drive to Bath and back took a little longer than expected so I wasn’t back until after 10. At 10 the cleaner arrived and said she would wait, my family told her there was no need to wait that she could go in and get started. They put all cases and bags in the garden and stood outside and waited for me. When I returned I went upstairs to speak to the cleaner to ask if everything was ok and she was quite rude saying we should have been out by 10 as she had to start cleaning. I said that she had been allowed in as soon as she arrived, apologised for being a little late and said we were now going. When we were driving home we then received a curt telephone call asking if we were out of the property, we said yes, that we had been a little after 10 but that the cleaner had immediate access as soon as she arrived to start her job and my family waited for me outside. I was then told that I should have been out by 10 to allow the cleaner in again! The whole way this was dealt with was rude and unnecessary and left the end of what had been a good break a little sour.

Lovely stay at the Old Bakery House

It was a nice cosy property and the rooms were nice. Downstairs was nice and spacious

We couldn’t turn the radiator off in 1 of the bedrooms and the heating was on very high. So very difficult for one of the girls to sleep. The Ubers were a a little hit and miss but that’s not the fault of the owner.

Great stay at The Old Bakery, exactly what we wanted, plenty of space, comfortable, nice surrounding area, everything we needed in the kitchen.

Some parts of the decor are looking a little tired, however this didn’t impact on cleanliness or comfort.

A very comfortable home away from home

The house was in a lovely area and was very comfortable all round. It was nicely decorated and very homely. The owners’ contact and directions were excellent as was the free parking spot. Easy bus trip to town to explore Bath.

One bathroom was a bit restrictive for 5 adults but we managed.

Lovely cottage on outskirts of Bath

The property is spacious (except the middle bedroom) and furnished nicely. There was fresh milk, plenty of plates, pans etc for us to cook breakfasts and a well stocked kitchen with oil, coffee, teas. Bathroom with lovely soaps, shampoo etc. Nice little outdoor yard. We walked into the centre (mainly flat or downhill - 30 minutes, pleasant walk) and caught the frequent bus back from the train station. And a car space is a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

A really lovely and cute modernised and comfortable Cottage on the outskirts of Bath.

Lovely 3 bedroom cottage with excellent new kitchen and large dining area and living room. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. The property wasI convenient to areas outside Bath , like Bradford on Avon. The outside garden area would have been lovely to use if the weather is nice. Overall a happy weekend for us

it really felt like home from home. beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

The parking space could have been gravelled or tarmac as there had been a lot of rain and we had to park in huge puddles and get either soaking feet or very muddy wet feet. should have parked on the road in hindsight. Property could also do with an outside security light as it was dark when we arrived and fumbled around.

Superb

Lovely home in a nice location. Close to Bath City Centre, 10mins on the bus which stopped just down the street from the house. Nice local pub and Fish shop. Good size bedrooms, lovely garden, 2 fridges and well equiped kitchen.

We originally booked for 7 people but only 5 of us came in the end, sharing 1 bathroom to 7 people would have been hard work. A downstairs loo or an en suite added would be great. Couple of cobwebs up high but overall it was pretty spotless.
