Bath Roof Terrace Apartment, City Centre, Sleeps up to 8

The apartment was nice and clean and the beds very comfy. The location quiet yet central. Easy walking to the shops and Royal Crescent area. Very nice restaurant nearby in the Francis hotel. The weather was very hot during our stay so the fridge water cooler a much appreciated bonus as well as the large fans in each bedroom.

Nice apartment but with drawbacks. The apartment itself is nicely presented two good size bedrooms a nice living space and kitchen and the ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom is very nice. For most people the apartment would be a good location for visiting Bath city centre.

Little things could be improved such as a plug for the sink in the main bathroom that actually fits the plughole. The blinds throughout the apartment need new pull cords or maybe even replacing. On first appearance the communal stairwell carpets as you enter the building need a really good clean as the spillage stains on the stairs and smell of damp is quite off putting. Once you are in the apartment it is very spacious and overall a nice space. Unfortunately we could not use the rooftop terrace due to nesting Seagulls that had left their mess over the table and rooftop area and they seemed to be quite aggressive so you would not be able to enjoy alfresco dining. We understand this is not something than can be easily dealt with but needs mentioning. Also visitors may want to know that parking near the apartment is very limited and almost impossible to find FREE parking. We parked our car in the Charlotte street car park which is around 6 to 8 minutes walk away and cost us £21.70p per 24hours parking so £43.40p for our 2 night stay which is not ideal. You may also want to make sure you check booking rules as we were charged an extra £20 to have the beds made up as king size due to only being 2 guests staying at the apartment you will also be charged if you arrive early or leave the apartment late. Personally we feel a 4pm check in and a 10am check out are not great.

Fantastic central location for easy walking to all the sights of Bath. Comfortable and well equipped and the roof terrace, with views across the rooftops of Bath to the cathedral was a real bonus.

The space and facilities were great but the best bit is the location

The cameras looking over the terrace gave impression of a bit intrusive would be good for signage to say if they are recording, when monitored and if they record or pick up sound
