A flat in a good location in Bath to enjoy the city and then to relax and chill out.

Layout was good, bedroom was spacious and comfortable and small kitchen fine for basic elements.

Parking in Bath can be a bit tricky under current rules but we were actually quite lucky with the way it went.

Amazing!

Amazing apartment in the center of Bath: you can walk anywhere in the city. Extremely clean, with bright windows and a very nice view! Every detail taken care of and the decor of the house really nice. Kind owners. Everything perfect, absolutely recommended!!

Superb weekend away

Perfect Location, easy access to the City Centre. Lovely little traditional apartment. Great crash pad to visit the City.

No problem with the property but Car Parking in Bath is an issue. Which is however, well documented before we arrived by the owners.

Excellent position at 100 yards from the centre at Bath, large and comfortable apartment ("1") with a beautiful toilet. Nice host.

Maybe the host could add blinds to the toilet, although the buildings in front of the toilet are empty

A cozy home in the Center of Bath how amazing is that

It felt like a cozy homestead in another city. The kitchen was well equipped. Cleanliness of the whole apartment was fine. The beds comfortable. The windows could be opened and closed easily. Climate was ok. Also the location centrally located in Bath. I would really recommend the place. During the booking I popped a question to the host and they promptly responded.

Comfy, dog friendly and central location

Great location, responsive and friendly staff who were able to answer queries and ensured we had all we needed. Lovely bathroom! Comfy bed, good size rooms and everything we needed to do meals if we wanted. It was lovely to be somewhere so dog friendly, and all dogs were well behaved and quiet.

Pricey but that’s Bath and for where it was and what we got, it wasn’t extortionate

Quaint and comfortable apartment in central Bath

This little apartment was so close to everything! A few minutes from the Roman Baths and town centre. It was a cute little apartment that had everything needed. We liked the separate toilet/shower. The hosts were super responsive and accommodating.

The sofa bed was terrible! But there was a fold out bed we used for the second night which was much better. Avoid the sofa bed at all costs! It’s also important to note there are stairs to get to the apartment. It didn’t bother us but someone with mobility issues may have had difficulties. The other thing to consider is the parking- the hosts were so accommodating with a parking permit but finding a park relies on luck!

Perfect accommodation for a central-Bath hen party!!!

Super easy to get in on arrival! Super easy to park up and unload before finding parking elsewhere. It was incredibly close to everything we needed - our furthest destination was an 11 minute walk away. Fantastic garden area and shared areas and really spacious unit for what looks small from the outside! We were so happy with the unit and how it worked out with roomings - it felt perfect for us :)

The main toilet seat in the large unit was a little loud when sitting down so maybe needs a tiny bit of tightening? And the gulls were loud in the morning but obviously you can't control the animals 😂 other than that, wonderful!

Haf a great time in Bath and the apartment was perfect.

Th3 location was second to none. Near the town, the bridge, the pubs and easy to get out. Yet not 5o close where you could here the town. Elsa was simply amazing, cannot thank her enough.

Bigger toilet, that would be my only complaint but it did suffice and was new and very clean.

Hot water in shower was very finicky- once set at a comfortable temperature it varied several degrees hotter and cooler.

Disappointing.

Bed was comfy. Kitchen clean and well stocked with equipment. Location very central. Owner was communicative in advance of arrival.

The apartment is very tired looking and scruffy. From approaching from the street, it looks unappealing. On entry, the apartment smelled damp. It was like a student flat. I was very disappointed, because it was meant to be a lovely place for us to stay while celebrating my daughter's hen party in the city. The pictures on here are deceptive. The back terrace looks half derelict, weeds everywhere and random bits of patio furniture. For what I spent for us to stay here, we could have got something much better. One of the beds hadn't been made and I had to ring the housekeeper to come and make it up, which she did later that day. Curtains in the sitting room don't reach the floor, are ripped and covered in damp. One three seater sofa for an apartment that in theory could sleep six people. It just didn't meet my expectations and I was sad that what I thought would be a nice little place for us turned out to be so dismal.

Use a youth hostel, and save yourself £300,

At least there were a few coffee pods for the machine to wake me up so I could work, after the appalling night I was subjected to.

You’d be better off in a hostel at least it would be clean! The flat was filthy. There was dirt dust and grime everywhere. Those areas that catch your eye when you first walk in had been made clean but a closer inspection of all the fittings etc showed a build up of dust and dead skin from other guests. The shower room was in need of a good descaling too. The dishwasher stank and all the cutlery was dirty, so the first thing I had to do was run the dishwasher with everything loaded in. The hallway stank of rubbish - like old rotten kitchen waste bins. The location is close to everything, but also right opposite a night bar (The Opium Bar - very nice, but open late) and surrounded by student digs, so beware, the noise levels at night can be quite high. I had to have the windows shut to try to get some sleep but it was the first really hot weekend and there wasn't a fan available anywhere in the flat. I contacted to owners, they say they have 7 or 8 fans in the building - not helpful at 2 am. They also state their cleaner has been with them for 9 years, I should say that is probably how much dirt had accumulated yes. Especially after COVID cleanliness should be a hosts number one priority but these people simply don't care. I ask for a refund of 50% to compensate me for the lack of sleep the disruption to my work the distress of the noise and the discomfort of trying to avoid touching really anything other than the bed and not being able to enjoy the facilities. They offered me 20% and became very shirty with me. Unnecessary, as I did send them photos to show what I meant. Edited 29.06.25 Of course it is hard to get a neg review but there is no need to then further insult the customer and who has clearly had such a bad experience, and fabricate excuses in your response. I was honest, as this helps other travellers. I notice you have changed your listing photos. This is a good start to allowing customers to know what to expect. Thank you

Rude and horrible host!

Great location, pet friendly, kind and friendly cleaner.

I'm not sure how this place got such great reviews. The flat gets very warm in summer, and the only cooling provided is a fan that has the exact same speed even if you turn it to the max. The host, Tony, is very very rude. He asked me for a £20 pet surcharge after I've checked out, which he said I have to go back to the flat to pay in cash. I felt pressured to do so since he has my luggage in storage. I replied he didn't mention a pet surcharge at booking time, his response was because I never mentioned I'm bringing a dog - I checked my booking records, I did mention it in the special requests section. Despite that, I agreed to pay since my dog ate something bad during a hike and got sick and had an accident on the floor and the cleaner was very kind and friendly about it. Then Tony proceeded to ask me for an additional £30 for the accident, even though I've already cleaned the mess up and even messaged them proactively to apologise for it. Nevertheless, I paid the additional £30 because the cleaner was very kind and I really didn't want a pleasant weekend trip ruined, but Tony continued to send me threatening messages even after I've paid exactly what he's asked for. He claims the flat is not rentable for a day due to my dog's smell and so I need to compensate him for that day's rent, but in an earlier message, he already said there's no other booking after me so the flat was going to be empty anyway. How did I cause him to lose a day's rent???? A very pathetic, verbally abusive, and extortive host.

Great location and amenities for a short stay in Bath

Excellent location, comfortable bed in the bedroom, good shower and we had everything we needed in the kitchen

The sofa bed wasn't that comfortable and when folded away as a sofa, the cushion kept slipping down while we were sitting on it. There was also a bit of noise on a few nights from other people staying in the flats (one night was until very late)

Location was fair

The property is not aligned with the description and the photographs are very misleading. 1 bathroom with a shower and another room with a toilet shared with ironing board etc. The decor is comparable to what you would find in a hostel. The bottom floor smells musty and the many staircases are dark and very steep. Very disjointed living. We were never given the parking we were promised and paid a lot of money to park a few miles away.

Disappointing in Bath.

The location was incredible, within walking distance of everything! It was self contained with a washing machine and dishwasher, with detergents provided. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with essentials. The bedroom was attractively presented.

The bathroom and the kitchen were both downstairs while the bedroom was upstairs. The stairs were steep and narrow and difficult. Going to the toilet in the middle of tbe night was fraught with danger. The shower was very temperamental. The shower head kept falling down unless you had the water turned up fairly high and then it threatened to overflow. The bathroom floor was supposed to be heated but apparently turned itself off after the first morning. There were no instructions for the washing machine or the dishwasher. There was no dryer in the laundry only a folding rack. The clothes took 2 days to dry. There was no microwave, even though it was stated there would be. There were no tongs in the kitchen and no oven mits. The kitchen lights were motion activated and kept going off while we were seated at the breakfast bar. As the kitchen was in the basement with hardly any natural light, this was very annoying. The bed was too large for the room with hardly any room down each side and only one lamp for reading. There was a mantlepiece over the decorative fireplace which jutted out at head height. Squeezing past in the dark at night was another hazard. None of the doors fitted the frames, some would not shut at all, others couldn't be opened without help after being shut! My husband was locked in the bathroom on the first day. It was a quirky old house, maybe better suited to younger people. The stairs were a real problem for us.

Great place for a few days (or longer) in Bath

Spacious apartment with kitchen facilities enabling a degree of self-catering. Excellent location close to 'old town' and Bath Abbey, as well as restaurants, launderette, etc. Very helpful advance communication from host as to check-in procedure; made checking in a breeze.

The mattresses were getting past their use-by date - a bit saggy and lumpy in places. We pulled the inner out of the duvet and put it under the bottom sheet to make the bed comfortable enough to get a reasonable night's sleep
