Dream Stays Bath - John Street

Great location. Car park not too far. A little noisy at night.

The apartment itself is excellent. It's at a very convenient location. The living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are nice and clean. However, at night it's super noisy outside. Noise from the pubs nearby is not the worse - seagulls cry all night long. Make sure you have ear plugs with you if you stay here. The management and communication are indeed quite disappointing. Shortly after the booking I received the management's message (via hotels.com) saying "Two days prior to your arrival, you will receive an email prompting you to complete your online check-in. This step is mandatory, as completing your online check-in will provide you with full access details to your apartment." I received no such email at all, and there was no communication whatsoever about check-in instructions. Only when I called their number on the day of check-in did they confirm that I would receive access code at 2:30pm that day. Another problem is that I booked the "Apartment, Private Bathroom, City View", which has two bedrooms according to the property description. The room I got only has one bedroom. It's not a problem for me and my husband, but the guests booking it might not be a couple. If two friends book the apartment thinking there are two bedrooms, they will be shocked to find out that they have to share a bed (unless one of them sleep on the sofa).

People in flat opposite and others in the block are loud , doors banging till late, the seagulls in this part of town are insane! Few DIY jobs need doing around the place and bathroom. Slightly surprised we had to make up the sofa bed.

Property was located in city centre within walking distance of local amenities and attractions. Had to sleep on the pull out sofa which was very uncomfortable affording a horrible night's sleep.

Great location in the centre of Bath close to shops and restaurants. Newly refurbished with great facilities such as fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer. Though, issues with entrance and door locks. Room door very fiddly and got locked in a few times. All doors difficult to operate. For this reason, we wouldn’t stay at this property again.

This apartment was a great choice for us. Safe, well furnished, warm and comfortable. Near the centre of Bath with everything walkable. We stayed during Christmas Market and it was a good base to pop back to when we needed to off load shopping or have a rest. Opposite the most amazing bookshop and just along the road from the Wild Cafe in Queen street which was brilliant for breakfast. The apartment was bright, clean and had good linen and towels. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Bath.

This apartment is fantastic. Located right in the centre of Bath, all of the sights are minutes away. It is clean and really well appointed with quirky decorative touches that were lovely. Communication was great. My wife and I will definitely be returning.
