Bath City Skyline Spacious 3 Bed House for family

Excellent value, spacious, with good basic facilities and great views. Near Sydney Gardens, only a short walk into Bath, and a bus route nearby too.

It was rather shabby, with tripping hazards e.g. at the entrance to the kitchen. It wasn’t easy to contact the owner/manager - they didn’t always respond to messages. No staff on site of course, but the cleaner preparing the house before I came did a good job.

The location to central Bath was excellent! The house was much larger than expected and really well laid out. It was equipped with everything one could need and the instructions and communications with the owner were very good.

The cleaning wasn't brilliant and could probably do with a deep clean? The only other thing which would really improve the property would be lamps in the sitting room and bedrooms as the overhead lights were very bright. Other than that it is was overall a very good property.

The house was nice, beds comfy. . Location was great.

A few issues we had, the house really wasn't very clean, a lot of dust and cobwebs. Could do with newer pots and pans in the kitchen, the current ones are, rusty, scratched, or handles falling off. Recommend to take night lights as there are no lamps in the bedrooms, and the light in the dining room didn't work at all. If you're like me and like more than one pillow then make sure to take your own, and be careful when in the hallway, as the floor boards are all loose and move about. Shower has no pressure. And lastly there is nowhere close at all to park a second car as all the roads are permit only.

Beautiful location. Quiet. Beds were comfortable and the property is spacious. The property was reasonably priced. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary utensils.

The property was not particularly clean. Cobwebs and dead flies around. The off-road parking was extremely tight as the bush has been allowed to drastically overgrow the driveway. There was no other option as the street parking is residence permit only which is made clear beforehand however, I was hoping for an easier driveway park especially as was using a hire car and nervous about scratching it. There was only the main ceiling lighting and no lamps which It made the property quite harshly lit and not cosy. The property has a smart lock but the code was not sent to us in time which resulted in us having to contact booking.com and chasing up the host who was not responding on the given contact number. There was an apology for this however the new code sent through then expired halfway through our trip. We later noticed another had been sent through booking.com but it was all a bit of a stressful mix-up.
