Metal stairs.
Kitchen table trapped under stairs, had to move.
Host attitude: this isn’t a hotel…. I told him didn’t know where trash was he stood in front of it and pointed behind him, but didn’t just place the bag in the bin, turned and walked away. Might be cultural. Condo I stayed at in Salamanca Spain sent cleaners every few days to change sheets and clean bath. & restock supplies. Same arrangement, but a lot less care. Felt sexist which I guess is cultural. Cupboards over packed with old and out of date supplies which I guess I was supposed to sift through to figure out—find fresh trash bags, etc. sorry yuk.
