The gym is outdated and there is no mirror. It also smells bad. Breakfast could be richer, with some more bread options

Breakfast needs improvement. It is far from a 5* hotel breakfast as food items are limited. Turn-down service is not done here. Upon arrival, porter was nowhere to be found so instead I had to go to reception to ask for assistance with our luggages. Bed linen is never changed unless requested. Some dirt on the bathroom from previous guest, remained on the floor throughout my stay, and was never cleaned or noticed by housekeeping for my entire 4 night stay. Also, the complimentary water in our room was only replaced on our first night and then never again. Lack of consistency in this service. A lovely hotel, but there is room for improvement.

Close to museums and other tourist sites. Nice sized room with sofa. We asked for a quiet room and were put at the rear of the hotel which was away from the street noise.

As a business and leisure traveller within Italy from 2018 onwards, this was my first time in both Torino (Turin) and at the Grand Hotel Sitea. I was warmly greeted by reception staff when I arrived early evening. I comment that staff member and manager, Giuila, was particularly genuine, warm and professional throughout my stay. The bar staff, including female bar manger, were exemplary in service and style. The hotel porters were warm and genuine also. No fuss, just genuine care and customer service. The room that I was offered on the first night was exceptional: filled with style, space with a walk in wardrobe for clothes and luggage, a super desk with desk lamp that was great to work remotely from, wifi excellent very comfortable and large bed with all accoutrements you would expect from a five star hotel in both mini bar offerings and bathroom essentials. The towels and linen were luxurious and new. The evening turn down of the room with gown, slippers and mats, so appreciated, as was the exceptionally clean room. The hotel's restaurant, Carlo e Carmillo had thoughtful and wide options from local Piedmontese dishes to UK and USA offerings. The hotel itself is right in the centre of historic Turin and easily accessible to visit the Egyptian Museum, Port Nuova train station and an extensive array of shopping and wider art, architecture and history. I will return next month for further exploration and hope to request the very same room. I enjoyed the history of the hotel displayed for its 100th anniversary from 1925-2025 under the ownership of four generations. My only regret is that I forgot to ask where to find the resident turtles! and I had no time to book to dine at Ristorante Carignano for its Michelin-award-winning cuisine. A good excuse to return. Highly recommend with many thanks.

Central location, spacious rooms, friendly staff

Hotel room has seen better days. My bathroom was definitely not what you would expect from a 5 Star Hotel. Pictures enclosed. Fitness room is in basement with hardly any ventilation or AC. No good air quality for exercises.
