A nicely restored, roomy barn conversion in a lovely quiet spot within reach of beaches

ILots of room with a big farmhouse style kitchen. Nicely restored. Lots of outside space including a covered area with a pizza oven! Very peaceful and quiet in a beautiful part of the country. Nice pub nearby too.

Peace, stargazing and bird song.

Beautiful, clean and well-equipped home. Stunning grounds to wander, relax and eat in. Plenty of space for a large family get together. Home was beautifully furnished and full of character.

Narrow winding roads to get to the house but this is not unusual in Cornwall. Might not the be the place for you if you like pubs and restaurants on your doorstep, however probably just right for you if you like peace, stargazing and bird song.

Superb

A gorgeous farm house, very spacious, situated on a lovely property with amazing views of the surrounding area. Short drives to local pubs, about 30 minutes to get to coastal walks.

The provision of a hair dryer, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner would have been appreciated. We had to go buy more loo roll as the allocation provided didn’t get us through our stay. Little touches like this, as well as tea and coffee in the kitchen would have made it truly exceptional.

Great facilities indoors and out - plenty of space for kids to run around. They loved the rope swing. We enjoyed the benches and garden seats to eat outdoors.

overall loved it.. experiencing Cornwall at Christmas time as been wonderful

The rural location.. cosy winter feeling.. good central heating and plenty of wood for the open fire.. if you like your up to date tv then this will disappoint but we loved playing the board games and actually getting away from the tv..

The outdoor area where we planned to use the barbecue and fire pit was left in disrepair so we couldn’t use it.. the twinkling lights didn’t work and the barbecue had been left uncleaned.

Charming old place with lovely garden

Despite the isolated position very conscious of neighbours in farmhouse next door. We have dogs who are very well behaved but did enjoy barking at their pet guinea fowl, which didn’t go down well !

A great location and house for a large group or family to stay, chill and have fun.

The house is large with extensive parts to the garden that could easily accommodate all our family. We used it as a great base to see the Lizard but also had a few down days to chill out at the house as there was plenty of space. It is in a really nice secluded location with lots of local wildlife. We had a great time. Jane gave us some excellent tips on where to go, where to eat and what to see. Check-in and out was very easy. We enjoyed a few lovely meals on the provided BBQs and outside tables. Lots of games equipment provided.

The internet to the router was a little up and down (probably the ISP) so WiFi calls kept dropping, but the WiFi signal itself was good. The house finish is a little rough and ready (after all it was a barn sometime previously!), but spacious and well equipped. The house martins were a nuisance for the pool and table-tennis in the outbuilding but after all it was their home too!

Heavenly gardens surrounding a homely property!

We loved the cosy, well-equipped kitchen and the quirkily decorated barn. The gardens seemed never-ending and so beautifully kept. The shelter made for a lovely dinner setting. Our neighbours for the week were friendly and the location was perfect for an idyllic escape!
