Good location, all essentials available at property
Too small for a large group. Heating not adequate on ground floor. Old property, quite dated facilities

Very cute accommodation! Plenty of beds, perfect location, lovely quick drives to all the beaches and little areas of Cornwall you’d want to see!
Parking can be a battle with so many holiday goers but that’s to be expected, the hot water makes a bit of a hum but you get used to that - it’s a non issue.

The property was in a great location in Hayle. The host was very responsive, helpful and friendly. My family and dog were able to stay for the week which was a real plus. We felt it was priced appropriately & the property and beds were comfortable and cosy.
There is an awful signal for wifi which can be frustrating when trying to plan where to go.
White light bulbs downstairs made it clinical and stark. Upstairs lights were warm bulbs and would have felt more welcoming downstairs too. Minor issue and just preference

Everything we needed for a family of 4. Kitchen is small but well equipped to make meals which we mostly did each evening. Communication with the owner was easy. The holiday park is quiet but does have entertainment if you want it. We have family in the area so it's a great location for us but there's lots of beautiful beaches and things to do near by.
Nothing, we would happily go back.

We recently stayed at this chalet and had a mixed experience. There were definitely some highlights — the location was lovely, the bed and bedding were very comfortable, and I slept throughout the night easily! The layout of the space was well thought out, with enough room for the four of us. We appreciated the bright lighting in the rooms, good Wi-Fi which allowed us to use a switch console and look up things on our phones when needed and useful touches like shopping bags on the stair case to use, a good iron, and plenty of storage space in the larger room with drawers and hanging options. Check-in was smooth and quickly done, and communication with the host was excellent — they were quick to respond and came round the next morning after we reported an issue, which we really appreciated. The site itself was quiet, parking was plenty and easy to get to the chalet. The site shop was very helpful for little bits like milk, drinks, sweets and bread and staff there were lovely.
However, we did encounter several cleanliness and maintenance issues that impacted our stay. First impressions count and ours weren't the best, some external masonry had fallen and windows were left open before our arrival which allowed insects inside, so we had to relocate a few may fly, bluebottles and a couple of spiders after we popped our bits away, it was a warm day so I can see why the windows were open but it wasn't the best experiance having to go through the insect removal. We also were impressed that there was an airfryer but when we pulled the drawer open there was some fat left in the bottom of the drawer and the tray. We also had a incident which affected my safety the first night, a peanut was found in the sofa led and led to a pre-anaphylaxis allergic reaction, which was very concerning, and honestly affected my mindset for the rest of the trip, it led to nearly having to use my epi-pens, a midnight trip to a pharmacy, and rashes and hives which I still have. To their credit, the host acted quickly and arrived the next morning, and thoroughly cleaned the sofa, removed the rug, wiped down the pillows, and cleaned the air fryer, on the way out they also addressed the external masonry that had fallen.
Other cleanliness concerns included a stained jug, we also found unclean bowels in the cupboard on the second night, and the placemats had coffe mug stains on which we easily wiped off, there were also small dead flies on the ceiling above the shower. We also found an empty body spray can in a drawer. The living room area was nice to look at and had a good TV and some little nesting tables but the sofa and chairs were uncomfortable and the chair covers had rips in and the chair cushions just had blankets folded over them. The smaller double room was quite tight on space. Minor inconveniences including the poor shower pressure, plug sockets not being available on both sides of the bed I think also need to be mentioned.

Pool on the park and it was very affordable
I was hoping the children’s entertainment was on but didn’t realise it was only in children’s half terms

The location was good for our visit.
This property was no where near as big as we expected. I’m glad there was only two of us as if there had been 9 as that’s how many beds there are, it would have been such a squeeze. The Chalet was one of many and quite hard to find - especially in the dark. It was cold when we arrived and smelt very strongly of damp. The kitchen was tiny and I can’t imagine cooking a full meal in it for 2 let alone 9! The lounge is just a walk way really with a sofa, two chairs and a tv unit under the stairs which you can’t see from the far side of the sofa. The way the pictures are taken it looks like they are individual rooms but they are not.
There was no balcony and the living room does not expand beyond the building line as per the floor plan. The heating was quick to work and when on the upstairs was warm however due to the stairs being in the middle of the ground floor the heating didn’t really work at all downstairs. The second double bedroom is a single bedroom with a double bed squeezed in that’s only accessible from one side just about - if you are slim. All facilities were closed as you may expect for the time of year on a holiday park. I don’t recall in the description it saying it was a large John Flower holiday complex. All in all it was a bed at the end of the day but would never return or go with a family. If I had booked for a family holiday and turned up there I would have had to rebook elsewhere due to dissatisfaction as the description makes it seem like there is tons of room for an extended family holiday but there is not.

Location of the parking was a bit far with small children.
The property was freezing cold on arrival and only had a small heater downstairs which did absolutely nothing.
Property was poorly cleaned, melted cheese left in the air fryer, kitchen ware was poorly cleaned, dried blood stains on bedding.
When we explained to the owner our experience I feel her response was quite rude and abrupt.
We left a day early as it was too cold to stay in the chalet with our children.
Was a very stressful break away and we won’t be staying here again.

Very clean and tidy property set within a holiday park within a short drive from local shops. The site itself was tidy and although it was shut for the season during our stay, there seemed to be some good facilities. Nice views out the back of the property.

Very nice property, clean and well equipped, Kitchen a little small but manageable. I guess it could have had a better wifi connection but all in all very happy with the chalet and resort
parking was poor I think due to maybe owners were there and some didnt leave perhaps but it was a good way to get bags ertc to the chalet especially from a disability point of view
