It was clean and well located!
It was a shame on the Easter break the pool and playground were being refurbished but we will go back when it is complete.

Brilliant location, surrounded by nature.
Overall, silver chalet was a good value for money, had everything I needed for my weekend trip. Kitchen essentials, clean bed sheets, hot shower, fast WiFi, parking space nearby.
Sadly, everything in the chalet was “tired” - either well used, broken or not working :( No radiator in double bedroom, the one in living area not working so it was a little cold at night. Shower leaking.
Basically, the chalet could use some tlc and maintenance but good news is - it does reflect in the price and I would stay again.

So peaceful at this time of year and I really enjoyed the park being set among all the old trees. The woodland walk was the perfect length and well worth walking down to the gorgeous meadow by the river with my dog. Then enjoyed a home cooked breakfast from the shop which was comparatively priced to any local shop :)
Shame the pool wasn't open, but I did enjoy a swim and sauna with nobody else in the pool at the other park.

Clean. Warm.
Beds were terrible - sunken mattresses that need replaced. You need to tell people BEFORE booking that the pool is out of action and that you have to drive 10 minutes to another site to use a pool that can be booked for an hour only the day before.
