    Clean, warm, but forgettable.
    Clean. Warm.
Beds were terrible - sunken mattresses that need replaced. You need to tell people BEFORE booking that the pool is out of action and that you have to drive 10 minutes to another site to use a pool that can be booked for an hour only the day before.

    Very dissatisfied
There is so many different destination if you drive as the bus stop is out of service but there is no taxi's, they are very beautiful especially carbis bay, parking is not far from chalet, there is entertainment for younger children age 10 or under, there is also access to the swimming pool which is free!
The in the chalet there are 2 single beds in each and both of the single beds in one chalet are very wobbly, in the other one of them is very wobbly, as soon as you walk in you can smell the damp and there is mold all in the corner of the walls, top of the curtains, and also under the mattress in one of the chalets, the mirror was missing as you can see the pencil marks from where is was put up, one of the plug sockets was very loose, the bathroom toilets was still flushing long after they had been flushed We did pay £400 for both chalets and was told it was gold package so as you can imagen i thought straight away from the advertisement pictures I was thinking this is a great deal but when I got there I felt they was the most basic chalets and that they was not gold but more like bronze or silver at a push! I saw the brown chalets which was in the advertisement picture I also see the platinum chalets which when you got there you could see it was then with having hot tubs outside I feel like I was very mislead and was disappointed There was also a plug socket placed behind the pillow of the headboard I would post loads more pics but it wont let me to show full proof to back up what im saying

We would absolutely stay again, although we worried about the time of year being miserable it was very cosy, and the lod
It was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, had two toilets as well were a group of 4 this made it a lot easier for us all. And one of them was an en suite. The lodge was clean and tidy when we arrived, however some of the cupboards did have some spots that could have done with an extra go over with a cloth. It was warm, and cosy and had everything we needed in there for our week stay
It could have done with an extra bit of cleaning, although it was surface cleaned and appeared very tidy, there were some areas that were a little dirty. The sofa material made it sometimes uncomfortable to sit on, but manageable with quilts and pillows.

John fowler holidays have definitely gone down hill
Been here many times over the years. Location is lovely
The accommodation was dirty. The pool heating pump was broken and the pool water was filthy and made my granddaughter sick. The seating in the club in the evenings was inadequate for the volume of people.

    Relaxing
The chalet we were initially assigned was not satisfactory, as it was not properly cleaned and was located rather far from the car park, making it difficult to reach in the evening, particularly with a small baby. However, after explaining the situation to the staff, we were kindly offered a caravan instead, which was in excellent condition — clean, modern, and conveniently situated close to the car park.
The chalet we were initially assigned was in very poor condition. It was dirty, dark, and had an unpleasant smell of bacon. The sink was poorly designed, making it impossible to use the hot water tap, as it was placed too close to the porcelain basin. In addition, the path leading to the chalet was covered with grass and not properly lit, making it unsafe and extremely difficult to access with a stroller, especially in the evening. It was also the very last chalet on the road, which was quite inconvenient considering that I had clearly mentioned in my booking that we were travelling with a baby under one year old. Under these circumstances, we would have expected to be assigned accommodation that was cleaner, closer to the car park, and accessible with a stroller. Furthermore, the sink had two separate taps — one for cold and one for hot water — unlike the caravan, which had a modern mixer tap. The hot water tap was positioned so close to the basin that it could not be used at all, leaving cold water as the only option.
