Stepping Stones Cottage - Lelant, Nr St Ives

We loved Stepping Stones Cottage. It was very clean and spacious for a family of 3. It had everything you need for a holiday. Even tea and coffee were provided, which was a nice touch. The location was fab. Easy to get into St.Ives via the bus from the holiday park (one leaves every hour). John Fowler holiday park was also clean and well presented.

Everything was great really, although my only one thing I'd mention is the double bed was perhaps a little too firm. My husband thought so.

The location was perfect for us, the premises is quiet and the surrounding woodland is perfect for walks. The cottage itself was quaint and we were impressed by the space, especially the dining room table and two sofas. All amenities worked like the kettle, fridge, TV. Parking was easy and the access to the small shop on site made it easy to grab essentials like milk and chocolate! Host sent instructions prior to our arrival about the location and access which made it easy getting into the cottage. Loved how a bus was available too on the premises.

Curtain was missing on the door so felt a little exposed during the night. Double bed mattress was a little harder than we would like.

Absolutely lovely spot on the holiday park, nestling amongst many old tall trees! Great place to take your pet pooch along too, our Patch really enjoyed the forest trails! Facilities were great at the chalet, everything we needed, all really comfortable! Friendly hosts too, will defo stay again!
