Excellent location. A straight walk up from the train station and just off the main hub, so was close enough to get to all the sights, but far away enough for it to be on a quiet street. The shower was very good. Always hot water available. Blackout shutters on the windows were good. It was nice to have the garden nearby, though I didn't use it. Very Italian, quirky residence. Lots of clothing storage in the room. Cold water and coffee/hot chocolate provided for guests at the reception. Very comfortable bed and pillows. I'd stay here again.
Noise from the coffee machine in reception carried up the stairs to the room, which was a bit of a bother, but not hugely. Patrons are told to use it only between certain times.

Conveniently situated. Nice garden and friendly staff. Good to have hot drinks and biscuits available.
Kitchen wasn’t very usable. Very tiny and not a lot of equipment. Apartment was dark, but cool on hot day and garden was good.

It was just a few streets from Piazza dell’Anfiteatro & the Torre Guinigi & the space in the bedrooms… and the villa old world charm & the secret garden…magical
