Lovely place to stay on the main street of old Lucca

Climbing steep stairs to the 2nd floor, but I guess this is typical for walled part of Lucca. (no old houses there have elevators).

Cozy rooms in a great location

This is a small bed & breakfast. My room was nice and equipped with everything I needed. I appreciated the central location, only minutes away from lots of attractions and places to eat and drink. I really appreciated the kindness of the ladies who run this place, they were extremely polite and gave me recommendations for restaurants and things to do. They served breakfast in the morning and it was lovely to have a chat.

If you are older and/ or with mobility issues or carrying lots of heavy bags just be aware there are some steep and narrow stairs to the b&b and no lift

Lucca truly won us over – we highly recommend not missing this gem of Tuscany

The city of Lucca has a special, old soul. The location is in the historic part of town, just a step away from all the main sights. With a super comfortable room and an even more beautifully designed bathroom, it was the perfect choice. The host kindly helped us with parking, as we were traveling with our own car. Our whole family was also very pleased with the breakfast. Staying at L’Iris B&B was excellent - all compliments to the host. Lucca truly won us over – we highly recommend not missing this gem of Tuscany.

Irene's mum was very welcoming and provided us with very helpful information about the places of interest and also recommended some restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and right in the heart of the main street. Highly recommended accommodation.

Great hostess! We were able to drop our bags off before check-in and also leave them in the common area after check out. The room itself was pretty big and the ac is ac. The provided breakfast was yummy. Location is great- although Lucca is very small and convenient overall.

Perfect B&B in the heart of Lucca.

We booked this last minute due to a flight cancellation. Irene was so welcoming and let us leave our luggage at the B&B as we arrived before check in. Irene then put our bags in our rooms for us when it was ready. This little B&B is in a perfect location in the centre of Lucca. Irene recommended some lovely places to eat and attractions we had not already seen. The facilities were exceptional and breakfast was delicious. I also had the best nights sleep! It felt like a home away from home. We will definitely stay again.
