Big quiet apartment in the center of Lucca

Everything was perfect. From the introduction of the flat to the town of Lucca and surrondings. Big and comfortable rooms, light and clean. Flowers on the table made you welcome. Nice Big citymap laid out with highlights.

Great location in a fabulous place

The location was perfect, close to all the shops, restaurants and bars plus all the sights to see in Lucca. Also just a 15 minute walk from the train station. The property was beautifully designed with lovely walls, ceilings and nicely furnished. Comfortable and clean smelling bedding.

There was a lightbulb missing which made it a bit dark. The fridge was a little unclean plus being English it is always nice to have a little milk in the fridge for a cup of tea!! We have stayed in places in Italy where there are a couple of little milks available! Apart from that … perfect!

Beautiful place, excellent location, kind and responsive hosts.

Beautifully refurbished property in the heart of the Lucca’s historic centre. We loved the decor and the location, kitchen was reasonably well equipped and beds were very comfortable. The host was extremely friendly and staff very kind. We liked that it was managed by a cooperative so some of our money was going to good causes.

There wasn’t much to dislike. We had a little problem with the sheets which didn’t smell as fresh as we’d like and the hosts went out of their way to replace them. May just be the washing powder wasn’t to our taste? A milk pan was dirty in the kitchen but not a big deal.

Lovely Lucca bolthole

Simone was a brilliant host and a pleasure to spend a little time with. The location was perfect and very quiet. Everything you wanted was in easy walking distance. Having a kitchen was a real plus.

A truly magical experience.

The location was amazing and so close to the shops, restaurants and city wall. The street itself was super quiet and in a morning all we could hear were the birds. The apartment was absolutely stunning and had lots of character and charm. It felt really spacious and clean and included everything you needed if you wanted to cook there. The use of the bikes was a real added bonus and we got plenty of use of of them. Our stay in Lucca was magical and I would absolutely recommend this apartment. It’s also worth mentioning that the communication we received from the host was great and we were even met at the apartment on arrival to go through everything we needed to know.

Very good

Casa Nora was very close to everything. It was a great sized apartment with good cooking facilities. There was supposed to be a washing machine but they were waiting to get it fixed, so Simon paid our city tax in lieu of washing machine and we just used the laundry not far away. A very lovely place to stay

The apartment is beautiful, located exactly in the heart of Lucca. Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped (the only thing I would add is an iron :-). Simone is very friendly, communication is very easy. We left our car outside the old walls and he picked us up and then on the last day he also drop us off at the via Roosevelt where you can leave the car (free). There are also bicycles in the basement for the guests' use so we took them and rode around the old city walls. If one day we are back to Lucca we definitely stay in Casa Nora again! Thank you Simone!

Casa Nora is a fantastic apartment in the best possible location in beautiful Lucca, renovated with sensitivity to the 800 year old building, it has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Communication with Simone was very easy, he picked us up from the airport and was always available throughout our stay to promptly answer any questions. He organised a wine tasting in the Lucca hills for us (not to be missed) and even dropped us off at the train station for our return home. We loved our stay here and would love to come back.

Very gorgeous apartment, historical and central in the city

We were overwhelmed by this beautiful apartment, which is centrally located in lucca. the historic walls with over 800 years of history have been lovingly renovated, furnished and cared for. You can see the love that has been thought of every detail in order to harmonize the old with modern requirements. The manager explained the history of the house wonderfully and gave us valuable tips for restaurants and places of interest, which we gladly accepted. In addition to a spacious living room with kitchen and a sofa, there is also a private bathroom with shower. The bed was very comfortable and everything else was available, what you need. Het appartement is prachtig

De frisheid van de handdoeken. De middensteun van het bed ontbrak waardoor het bed in het midden wat lager was. Het matras is echter goed.
