Great facility in a convenient location and with wonderful staff!

We had a fabulous stay here, specially with the wonderful attention of the staff (Michele and Giovanna). The location is ideal, just outside one of the main entrances to the historic center of Lucca and close to great restaurants. We fell in love with Lucca, a very beautiful city with interesting history and wonderful cultural events. Thank you Michele for your wonderful recommendations and great hospitality!!

Michele was great, we arrived late due to a delayed flight but was no hassle at all, we were always greeted warmly and well looked after. The location was great, just across the road from the walls of Lucca, there is paid parking(1.50 euro/hr 8am - 8pm) then free after 8pm just outside the hotel or free parking close by.

The most friendly owner/receptionist who waited for our late arrival and was really quick with giving information, the location is just perfect, 5min walk to the old town / center, enough parking on the street which is free over the night.

It is perfect for a day or two but the room is really small so I woulldn't recommend it for a longer stay.

Fine stay for a night in Lucca

Michele was very friendly and helpful, location was great. Room overall was good but very basic, a bit noisy and only one window had shutters meaning it was bright very early.

Room was a bit nosy and the bathroom very small.

A great little find

Very friendly and helpful owner. Helped us in loads of ways from restaurant recommendations, parking, provided Italian adaptors because our European adaptors did not fit the plugs, showed us how to use the Airton etc etc. Very useful full sized fridge with ice box to keep a supply of cold water, drinks and picnic food fresh in the hot weather. Located just outside the city walls so a very handy location for Lucca which is a loverly old town to walk around and explore.

Aircon necessary as quite a busy traffic area so quite noisy with windows open but fine when closed

Amazing locality right next to the Piazza Santa Maria (one of many entrances to the Old Lucca). Cosy apartments in the first floor of a 4 storey building. Staff was very helpful and we managed our accomodation in a few minutes. If you are looking for one or two-day stay at Lucca this is a great option. Free public parking is just a few hundred meters from the apartment

A great place with a perfect location

The location of this place, especially for those who are driving to Lucca, really cannot be beat as it is right outside the old city gate but you do not have to drive into the city which is quite hectic. The balcony was a nice place to have a glass of wine and watch the sunset, and the room itself was great value for the money. Our host was also very kind and flexible with our checking out which we really appreciated!

Room is a bit on the small side but we spent most of our time out of the room anyway so that was okay!

Great location and very nice host

Michele vas very nice, patient, helped us to park and gave us very useful advice for the stay. We loved the balcony, location and free parking nearby. There is also little tea/cofee corner with great free coffee which we found lovely.

Automatic lights that I didn't know how to turn off...I was staying with a child and as he fell asleep, lights were going on and off due to my movement, which was waking him up.

The property has a decent size fridge that we could have plenty of food for our breakfast.

There was 1 day or so that the internet was breaking the connection, it was most likely a problem in the provider since next days was good.

Really recommended for tourist to Lucca

The room was comfortable with a small fridge which is always nice. There was 24 access to a kettle, coffee machine and a choice of teas and coffees. The best thing was the location. Literally a 5 minute walk to the Santa Maria gate to the old city. Also just next to the hotel was a pleasant local bar. Michel at the hotel was super helpful and welcoming.

What was exceptional about the stay was the help and support that I got from Michele. There was nothing that was too much trouble for him and I did ask him for help, on many occasions, and he was always came through. He never passed you off on to someone else he helped you himself. An excellent host and manager.
