Old Worldy and quirky.beautoful building!

It had some really beautiful artwork. The room was lovely and comfortable.

The aircon was not working but the fan helped and there are lovely big windows

Perfect place, 100 steps away from the train station

Very close to the train station; I was surprised how welcoming it was, with cold and ambient bottled water, lots of tea and sweets in the room. Clean towels and bathroom; Very quiet with high ceilings.

Wonderful stay in lucca

Located just outside the walls. Room was large and beds were comfy. Air con was greatecerything we needed We weren't affect by music from the bar below Would definitely recommend

I liked it

Location was excellent. Close to train station and underground passageway to the city wall and old town. Very good places to eat right out the front door and along the street.

The room (Bandito) was not particularly soundproof, but Lucca is fairly quiet. Earplugs are provided, but I didn't use them. The sound didn't bother me. There was a snafu with the room, but it worked out fine. Room keys are apparently interchangeabl, so you have to match the name on the key with the room... something I failed to do.

Lucca is a great, historic city, and Dimora Altemura is a terrific base for exploring it.

We stayed in "Apartment Tina" and it was great: spacious and comfy, including a kitchen and a terrace. Staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Location was tops: steps from the train station but close to the city entrance.

Lovely apartment in a great location.

Fantastic location, just outside the walls of Lucca. The apartment was a great size for the two of us. Outside terrace was a bonus. The apartment was well stocked with everything we could need. Really enjoyed our stay.

Bar downstairs was loud until the early hours but the proprietor assured us this was only due to the weekend. Earplugs were provided in the room.

Convenient location

The room was simple but very clean and easily accessible from the Train Station. The accommodation is outside the city walls but that means it is around a 10 to 15 minute walk into the centre which we found not to be an issue having stayed in Lucca many times before and so we felt it was a good location.

There is a cafe below the accommodation which at night can be lively and one night was very lively with very loud music until the early hours. The Ear plugs provided were helpful!

There is a restaurant pub downstairs. So there were sound that affected my wife's sleep the first night. Sound stop around 1:00am...

great location but noisy at night

The owners are so lovely and welcoming, it's a perfect location only a few minutes from the train station and another few mins to the city of Lucca, it's a good basic stay with nice bathroom and good facilities

unfortunately it's so noisy, the bar down the stairs is extremely noisy until the early hours of the morning, I feel for the owners as this would have been a perfect stay apart from the noise

It was advertised as a bed Snd breakfast. When I arrived they said there was no breakfast

No staff appeared to give any help The kettle in the room was burned out so thd rust was coming off inside. It was the noisiest room I have ever stayed in. They supplied ear plugs which did not help. Needed to be told this when I booked

Location to an entrance to the old town was great, access to the apartment was easy. The bathroom was a good size and very clean. Having a fridge and microwave was very handy

The location of the room was great, as we were close to the train station (1/2 mile), and just outside the walled city. There was a coffee shop a few doors down. When we arrived, the room was not ready, and an employee held our luggage for us and placed it in our room when it had been cleaned.

Unfortunately, we had not paid for our room when we booked it, and no one was available when we were ready to check out the next morning. Since our train was delayed, we were able to return to Dimora Altemura and a staff member was present, so we were able to pay and it wasn't an issue.

Great place.

Great location near station and near city wall. Room was very well equipped and lots of hot drink options and a fridge. We were able to drop our bags in early and look around Lucca, a lovely city. Very friendly welcome and lots of communication beforehand with good tips of places to visit.

There was some noise from outside. However, ear plugs did the trick and slept fine.

Exactly what we had hoped for.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lucca. The room was very close to the train station and straight across the road from the wall and historic city. Catarina was friendly and helpful with some awesome restaurant recommendations.

The bed and especially the pillows could be more comfortable.

Fantastic host and location - would recommend!

Host was amazing, fantastic communication, easy check in/out. Provided us with a kettle and navigated us with the local squares/sight seeing. Location is fantastic - 3 minute walk to the train station and 10 minutes to Lucca centre. Discount available for various restaurants. Extremely clean and snack boxes available in the room after a long day Gorgeous terrace out the back / little sun trap

Brilliant location for us just near train station and slightly outside the walls of the town. Beautiful view of the town. Room was perfectly planned out for travelling mini fridge, table and chairs, even a microwave, breakfast wasn’t available but a free snack box provided was more than enough, take note of Caterina’s reviews on local restaurants we ate really well (local fare), thanks to her advice. Cannot fault our stay we loved it.

Caterina was very helpful, suggesting places to eat and helping with requests. Great communication via messaging prior to arrival. The room was ideal - the location, exceptional! Firm bed was perfect. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Coffee wasn't easy to sort without sugar, and never a big fan of 'machine' dispensible coffee - this was a very minor issue. There is a coffee shop moments away but not open on the day we were there (Monday). Really nothing we didn't like.
