Well situated away from the main road traffic, very pleasant staff, well maintained grounds with lush vegetation, clean, good sized pool with loungers. Breakfast area open air with a small menu offering, fresh fruit
Noise from the bar/live music is not pleasant, starts at 800 pm and goes until 1100, the bands very from nite to nite, so you may hear very loud and not very good music and lyrics. We were booked into a 2 story unit, difficult stairs, furniture not as pictured, nice upstairs balcony, we had to relocate due to music and stairs. Downstairs area of 2 story is quite useless, small kitchen area, tv, always needed to use stairs. Our upgrade to pool villa was exceptional, still noisy.

Overall good stay but I'd highly recommend to get mosquito repellent as they don't provide it in the room, and be prepared that the door might get stuck and not close or open. And also, the breakfast expectations are best to be not so high.
However, you sleep in what appears to be a traditional balinese house with a modern touch. Spacious and with a big terrace. Highly recommend if you want to be within walking distance from everything interesting in Ubud. 10 out of 10 for location and resort architecture.
I don't recommend hiring a car driver via the hotel. The one we hired took his sweet time to bring us to a destination - 3 hours more, got lost multiple times, even when people are pointing him where to go to he goes into the opposite direction. He was also quite inappropriate to message me at 11pm to get a car booking on the next day.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We didn’t want to leave. Will be our go to in Ubud now.

Near food places. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent but the coffee was poor and service was very slow when they had more guests.
Children and Senior unfriendly. Too many stairs without railings. No shelter during wet weather. It was difficult and scary to walk after dark because of the steep stairs leading to the rooms. Room cleaning and lighting in the room could be better.
Rooms by the entrance were noisy from the bar opposite the resort. But these rooms had fewer steps and bumpy ground.
Room air con wasn't working well until the last day. They fixed it. Hair dryer was too weak to blow dry my hair.

The location is great, there are many good restaurants in the area. There is a good Mini Mart over the road and Money Changers and Laundry places are also very close. The Staff were great and the pool was peaceful and refreshing and the bed was very comfortable. This was our second stay at the Samhita and we will be back.
No issues

Villa with private Pool was excellent. Breakfast was basic but great. No room service but plenty to eat just outside the hotel. And the Gluten free restaurant next door was awesome.
Aircon was old and noisy and not very cool, could do with being replaced.

Staff was very friendly. Our room & garden was beautiful and spacious. Comfortable beds, nice pool and location was excellent.
Breakfast was not having too many options, but we enjoyed eggs with bacon every day. Also very nice fresh juices are offered.

Breakfast was lovely, just the right amount of selection. The rooms were amazing, and the staff were lovely and so helpful. Location was fab although near the centre of Ubud it was so quiet you wouldn't think so.

The Garden was beautiful and very quiet and private. ! All kind of wonderful flowers, water features, beautiful swimming pool, delicious breakfast of fresh fruits and juices, eggs, bacon . The staff also prepares excellent breakfast boxes if you are going out earlier than the restaurant opens at 8am. The location was excellent..several very good restaurants across the street, Mexican, Japanese, Italian and Balinese as well as a good coffee shop and great Balinese massages and shopping. The resort is walking distance to the Palace, art market and water lotus temple. Staff organized an excellent driver named Made to pick us up at the airport, take us on several excursions to rice terraces, temples, waterfalls , and deliver us to the cruise ship Port. Everyone on staff was very lovely and helpful.
Nothing.

Location great, front staff very friendly and generally helpful. Good size villa and pool.
Last time we stayed insect coils were supplied and lit around inside the villa grounds every night for turndown. We asked for some on the first night and never received. Had to purchase our own for remaining nights.

Location was close to the center of Ubud, but quite at night. We managed to sleep properly, although we were a few minutes walk from the main street. The staff were very helpful to our needs.
Breakfast was a bit basic, with limited choices. The staff were there to assist with your requirements and would do their best to satisfy your needs.

Nothing I don’t like

Located at the top end of Ubud, near the monkey forest. Lots of restaurants and spas on the same street and within a short walk. Room with own pool was lovely. Big firm bed, huge dressing room. AC was super cold!
Every night we could hear the bar over the road-band came on at 8pm and played until 11pm.
Breakfast was only between 8-1030 and took a long time-fine for a slow morning but not so good if you had somewhere to be.

Staff very friendly and helpful
Good breakfast
Lovely swimming pool
Really not a criticism but a little bit more variety on breakfast would have been nice
But even saying that breakfast was still good

Excellent! It is rare that I give a 10 rating. A collection of cottages in lush gardens. Attractive pool. Very spacious room, with a sofa, kettle, very large bathroom. Balcony with table and chairs overlooking garden, everything I could possibly want. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, small buffet plus a cooked dish to order. I was there for the annual "Day of Silence", when I couldn't go out; they provided meals through the day (usually only breakfast). In the city centre, so close to everything, but still a peaceful location, plenty of cafes and restaurants just outside.

The location was good that's about it
Staff searched through our bags while we weren't in the room, as one of the staff members necklaces was left in our bag. A member of staff let themselves into our room at 8:00pm for no reason.

Super clean room, excellent swimming pool and beautiful gardens.
The breakfast menu was the same every day and quite basic. Tea bags were like gold and normal black tea was not available at any of the nearby shops. (Take your own)

fantastic location. the staff were unbelievably helpful. whole complex was absolutely beautiful - particularly the pool area. nice breakfast in the morning and good value for money.
they should have more plugs in each bedroom. we had none without unplugging lamps. also the coffee at breakfast in the morning could be improved.

The room was nice. Great location. Has all the facilities and finishing touches. Massive comfortable bed with good pillows.
We did not use the bath tub as it appeared dirty and very stained. Shower head in both the shower and the bathtub shower could do with replacing as the holes are blocked and water just spurts out any old way. Decided not to wash my hair as it would have taken forever to rinse it out with the shower head the way it was. Behind the shower door could do with a good clean.

the room, location and staff were excellent . very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning if visiting Ubud again. thank you
It was noisey from the street when live music was playing until about 11pm but didn’t bother us too much.
