I liked that it was on main Street but back a little. It was pleasant.

Excellent location. Restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Walking distance to Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace and Puri Museum. Hotel pool and happy hour cocktails were nice after a day sightseeing.

Excellent location. Plenty of shops around by walking distance. Short walk to famous Monkey Forest and Ubud Market. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
The room unfortunately had a strong mould smell and felt damp. We mentioned this to staff and they brought in a dehumidifier and new bed linen. Unfortunately this made no difference.

Fantastic room - very clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. Food was great and the ambience of the hotel made us feel calm and relaxed. Most reception and room service staff were courteous and happy to help us with our requests.
The end of our stay was spoiled when one of the staff pressured us to give a 5 star review on trip advisor because they had upgraded our room. We felt like we were blackmailed as the staff peered into our phones to ensure we gave a glowing review. Ironically I would have given 10/10 over here had we not been pressured this way. Perhaps etiquette and protocol training for some staff would benefit.

Very spacious room . Great location, center of Ubud. The staff is excellently friendly and helpful

The location is good, and you can go shopping just outside the hotel.
I didn’t like it at all. The hotel is very old and absolutely not worth the price. Although it claims to be 52 square meters, nearly half of the space is taken up by the bathroom. An extra bed costs 500k, while Ayana provides free extra beds for children under 12.
The room felt old and dirty, which made our stay very uncomfortable.
The service was also disappointing. Apart from one short intern girl who was always smiling and very friendly, most of the staff appeared unfriendly and even a bit aggressive. The service was unprofessional — staff were often standing around chatting in groups, and even the driver showed better service attitude than them.

It was not making sense to stay there, very noisy at night at least until 1in the morning but the location is convenient
Noisy, not for older people

Everything. The staff were amazing. The restaurant food was delicious. The cocktails were fantastic. The bedrooms were very spacious and beds very large. The spa service was also fantastic. Great location in Ubud. Walkable to a lot of places. But honestly the staff were the best part of the stay. They couldn't do enough for me.
Nothing.

Nice hotel, pool, and people. Room comfortable, good shower. Good location.
Housekeeping just ok, very small TV with no English-speaking channels or streaming. Breakfast quality was ok.

Large spacious room with decent or large balcony facing the pool . Location great. Easy walk to Ubud centre. Surrounded by bars and restaurants and cool shops.

Everyone was very helpful and kind
Breakfast while extensive, the bread we found a little disapoointing. Because its in a buffet it gets soft rather than remaining crisp. It would also be nice to vary the jam choice instead of just the 2 which are rather runny.

Quiet, clean hotel in Ubud central location. Large room with comfortable bed. Nice pool.
The upstairs bar (Whisper Cove) was amazing! It’s easy to find one you know where it is!
Beautifully creative cocktails in cool space with great vibes.
Breakfast was included which was average. Cocktails at the pool bar also pretty average.

BEST THINGS ABOUT OUR STAY:
- The staff were so friendly & accommodating and helpful. Could not fault them AT ALL. Amazing ! They help the moment you need anything and send a cleaner to your room.
- The main pool with the chairs is such a beautiful & relaxing place to chill. The hotel in itself is beautiful too.
- We didn't have any issues with anything being stolen, luggage, or anyone trying to get into safe.
- area out the front of the hotel for taxis/gojek to come grab you so that was so much easier and we loved that part about the hotel!
- there are some shops around , restaurants that Aussies would like , all depends on what you like but the most reliable ones like milk & madu etc aren't far with gojek. Super easy to get there. Palace etc just up the road and the markets.
One thing I can add is it's most definitely for the older generation, we saw no younger generations there , very quiet but peaceful. Again, depends on what your vibe Is & what you like ! 💓
DOWNSIDES:
- mold problem & cleanliness.
While they had cleaning staff ( who are amazing) , there is unfortunately a mold problem. I've seen in other reviews that they say it's due to the rainy season as it's common in Ubud, which is true, but there is mold around the room that could be immediately fixed. Staff say it's from the drain, which I think is part of the problem too.
We stayed in room 104 and the moment we walked in , we were hit with a unbearable smell of mold. I wanted to cry. The following morning myself & person I was with woke up with headaches & stuffy nose. I talked to the staff( who were very helpful & understanding) and they gave us a humidifier and sent a cleaner but you could tell they were used to this request. The smell stopped for maybe an hour, but immediately came back after that. We left doors open during the day, left air conditioner on, humidifier going, it was still bad, but become just bearable by the 3rd night.
The air-conditioner works but can sometimes be a bit of a muck around trying to get it to actually turn on, water drips on the floor from the air-conditioners.
Door can be a bit hard to open sometimes but person I was with got it everytime so maybe just me.
One thing I can say about one cleaner staff member ( I wont say who) , they came in, saw the mold behind the tv cabinet etc after first mentioning the problem and left it.
We had talked to a two couples in the hotel and they didn't have a room smelling problem tho.
The welcome drinks also are made with tap water (while they look quite yummy) we couldn't unfortunately have it, and I did actually go out of my way to confirm this as I didn't want to assume.
This problem can be fixed and it could become a more enjoyable experience cause the bedrooms etc ARE beautiful and it is a cute place tucked away.

The hotel is located in the middle of the nature, in a quiet and wild place; the breakfast was very tasty and high quality; also, the rooms have a nice design and all the villa was gorgeous.

We loved the location, fa inities and size of the property. This was big enough for us and small enough to know all the staff!

Location was perfect. Smack in the middle of the street with good food, massage parlours, shopping, walkable to the water palace, markets and monkey forest yet once you were inside hotel grounds, it was quiet and tranquil with plenty of trees and no mozzies. Reception and staff were helpful and frequently checked on us. Breakfast was sufficient with bread varieties, cereal, fruits, salads and juice and daily menu of breakfast dishes.
Nothing but if I had to comment, I would prefer for the bedside power sockets to be higher instead of behind the table and have breakfast start slightly earlier at 6.30am for people who had to be picked up at 7+ am for their tours.

The staff are so helpful and lovely. The location is great for markets and shopping. The restaurants in the hotel were lovely and so was the food. Also loved happy hour. Free afternoon tea on the roof was great too. Loved my balcony with the bench seat, where i relaxed and read everyday. A quiet paradise away from the business of ubud streets. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect size Room (junior suite pool view) on first floor. It was clean, quiet yet easy access to everything. Quality linens, lotions and potions. Bed is on the harder side but that suited us. Spacious balcony and delightful staff. Spa reasonable cost. Afternoon tea with a view. Lovely pool area with sun and shade. Good value but we booked in advance 🙂 highly recommend
We could've used more power points for charging tech.

Staff, location and room were all highlights of this hotel. The staff are so friendly, they can’t do enough for you. The location is right in the heart of central Ubud. The road out the front is buuuuusy! But the hotel is set back from the road we couldn’t hear the road noise from our room. Our room was great. Pool view room which accommodated 2a 2c (young kids) well. Big room that was will appointed with everything you need. Balcony was great. Pool area was lovely and relaxing. Breakfast was sufficient. Whisper Cove Bar above the restaurant at the front was a highlight.
Overall, highly recommend and we would come back.
Nothing really, although my partner thought the bed was a tad hard but I thought it was fine.
