Not much, dreary, sad hotel in need of a significant refit.

The whole place was quite depressing. The rooms are small and dank. No coffee, tea etc in the rooms which felt sad, claustrophobic, poorly lit and dog eared. When i stayed there were only a few people in the hotel which will have contributed to the abandoned feel of the place.

Charming stay in the center of Cheverny

A very charming hotel in the center of a traditional village. The rooms were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the tranquility of the village The hotel offers very nice and spacious rooms. Rooms were cleaned, very nicely decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice ! And staff very helpful

Very Comfortable Hotel and Restaurant

The hotel is easy to find. We parked easily outside reception in a private parking area. Reception staff were friendly . Our room was a little on the small side but everything was there and the bed was very comfortable. The place was very clean. The bathroom and shower were clean and functional albeit the shower was a little difficult to enter easily. We dined outside on the terrace . The food was very good. We breakfasted in the main restaurant area. Very comfortable chairs in a very bijou room. Choice was pretty good with hot and cold choices. Personally I would have liked to see more fruit but that is just me. I would be happy to go back anytime.

Clean hotel in a small town with easy access to nearby Chateaux. Not a great value.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location is a quiet town, a car is a must. A nice bakery is across the street and Chateaux Cheverny and Chambord are both nearby.

Front desk staff was not particularly friendly upon arrival. No greeting. Weird interaction about breakfast and dinner. €25 PER DAY, for a pet fee is ridiculous and more than we’ve paid anywhere in Europe for 1 dog. We found this out after the fact and the booking was non refundable. There is no kettle in the room or anywhere in the hotel available to make an evening tea.

Have stayed here before, this trip it did not live up to our expectations.

Breakfast very enjoyable with nice ambience and friendly waiter. Room very clean. Hotel full of character. Easy and safe parking to the rear.

Room very small. No towel rail. Window up very high and no view. Although the restaurant is full of character, there was no choice on set menu and a la carte menu very expensive, and food somewhat underwhelming.

A very good hotel close to major Chateaux sur la Valee de la Loire

The Hotel is conveniently located în the heart of Cheverny, and the surroundigs, including the small and beatifull Church near by, are marvellous. The petit dejeuner was a normal one for a 4 star Hotel ( do not forget to ask for an expresso, as only Black Coffee is served at the table- but because this is the French style). Lovely and eager to come back.

Convenient situation for Chateau Cheverny

Tiny room, on second floor, which was claustrophobic. We were advised this was an “upgrade” on what we had booked. Evening meal menu was limited and food itself disappointing.

Comfortable and convenient base for exploring the Loire valley.

The rooms were spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The shower was great and the toiletries provided were very welcome. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was also very good.

The staff could maybe be a little more friendly but other than that our stay was perfect.

Nice hotel, but service could be much better

The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were good. Parking was easy and just outside.

The bar service was very poor - even though there were tables outside to sit at, you had to go in and almost beg for service! Service in the restaurant for our evening meal was haphazard - fortunately saved by one good waitress who was attentive while the others seemed blissfully unaware that there were people sitting at tables waiting to order etc. When we checked out we were charged for the room even though this had already been paid through Booking.com. I did receive a call from the hotel a few days later telling me about their mistake - hopefully by now I will have received a credit

We had a delightful stay in a small-town setting with a modern room and nearby restaurants.

All the employees were helpful. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the location was so convenient as was the parking, which is not always true. We would stay there again. The only reason the "comfort" was not rated at the highest level was that the area had the hottest day on record and regular air just couldn't cope with it.
