The soap dispenser in our bathroom was empty and we didn’t realize it until the shower was used for the first time. As a result we had to have someone bring a refill up immediately. The door also leaked a lot and we needed extra towels to wipe Up the excess water. The next day, rather than putting the new soap bottle in the wall dispenser to replace the empty one, housekeeping just left it on the floor.

Hotel description on booking.com includes "air conditioning" as an amenity. This hotel does NOT have air conditioning in the rooms. We were told "the concrete floors helps keep it cool". There is a box AC unit in the lobby but no air conditioning inside hotel rooms. We discussed this with front desk staff and they did provide us with a fan but kept stating that the concrete floors were air conditioning. I reported this to booking.com who told me they would have to contact the property to confirm, not shocked that the property "never responded to them" acknowledging there is no AC. Be aware in summer months the lack of AC could be an issue. Asked to pay 30 euros to check in early on day of even though our room was already ready as stated by front desk staff. We arrived by train mid afternoon not adamant about checking into our room early but when arrived were told our room was ready but to access it before check in time (3 or 4pm) we needed to pay 30 euro (we arrived at 12:30pm for reference). No other hotels while staying in Europe asked for additional fees when a room was ready, instead they accommodated their guests in order to promote a good, comfortable, hospitable stay. Pool towels are crunchy and need a thorough wash. The environmental impact is great but so is a clean towel

It’s been modernised too much! The Chateau has no soul anymore! It resembles a Premier inn style wise!

Hôtel proche du centre ville et du château, dans une belle bâtisse. Personnel très accueillant et souriant. Chambre spacieuse avec parquet chauffant (perso je préfère cela que la moquette)et grande douche. Parking à l'avant permettant de stationner une quinzaine de véhicules dont 2 stationnements pour véhicules électriques.

Le personnel était très accueillant. Le lieux mélange l'ancien et le moderne. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Je n'ai pas testé le petit déjeuner mais l'espace sauna / bien-être était bien agréable. Je recommande et j'y retournerai !

L’emplacement, l’accueil, le studio etait bien et propre. Le sauna trop sympa

On avait réservé une place de parking mais il n’avait pas de place. Traces de moisissures dans la douche. Il manque un jacuzzi dans l’espace sauna.

Personnel accueillant et courtois. Chambre spacieuse, propre, confortable et très calme peut-être parce que nous étions en basse saison. Le petit déjeuner buffet offre un grand choix de produits frais autant sucré que salé. Le parking sécurisé est un vrai plus, et offre une proximité pour les restaurants, la visite de la ville et du château.

hotel propre et confortable, très bien situé dans le centre d'Amboise. Bon accueil. très bon petit déjeuner buffet. De bons conseils pour les restaurants (Chez Bruno devant le chateau, très bien !)
