The location is very good, the restaurant’s food is also very delicious and the staff’s English is very good. It’s a good decision to stay here.
There’s no elevator if you have a big luggage, it’ll be a little inconvenient.

Excellent location, friendly staff and excellent food.
The shower was awful, either freezing cold or scalding hot. One restaurant staff member was a bit flustered and not very helpful.

The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is huge. I had dinner there and it was excellent. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and Château Chenonceau. They still use the old fashioned physical metal room key with a heavy keychain. Very interesting.
It would be great to have an elevator. But the hotel staff offered to help me carry the luggage up.

Slightly Fawlty Towers but very charming.
We stayed so that we could be on site for the restaurant which didn't quite reach our expectations.sp overall our experience was dragged down a little by that. We didn't use the pool as it was raining but the ourltside areas seemed pleasant. The room was a strange shape and a bit claustrophobic given the price. Overall it was the location which is great for visiting the Chateau that is its main attraction.
Common areas need a refit and the bar area looks unloved. We had to call for staff which was a bit annoying in what is trying to be a high end restaurant.

So much is fantastic here, we were just unlucky with our room and meal.
The bedroom (not cheap) was far too small, making everything uncomfortable. On entry, a chair was in the way. Then the very comfortable bed took up most of the room leaving no space either side for bedside tables. The wardrobe space was above the coffee machine and the loo door needed to be kept open as the room was too small ! And lastly, the dinner was very ordinary and not very good at all.

The property, the gardens, pool area, the location and the well appointed beautiful rooms are all excellent and you'll enjoy staying here. It's a short walk across to the famous Chateau.

The staff, the food, the thoughtfulness, the little extras and easy parking all helped make it a very enjoyable stay.

The staff were attentive and courteous. The hotel, outbuildings and gardens were beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast was varied, plentiful, good quality ingredients with home made touches. 5 minutes walk from Chateau Chenonceau
The only criticism would be that the curtains kept getting caught on the door to the ground floor courtyard room as it opened inwards.

The room and hotel were lovely. Very charming country hotel in a picturesque location within walking distance of the Chateau and several restaurants and the town.
The spa and pool were not warm. I think at least the spa should have been warm for guests.

Great location near the castle. Very clean. Restaurant onsite.
The coffee machine and fridge were in the spacious bathroom, while the toilet was a tiny cupboard separate to the bathroom with no handbasin?
We booked and paid for for two persons and requested twin beds well in advance, and they tried to charge us 15 Euro additional for twin beds.
Spa pool was nearly cold? So not able to use.

We have stayed here on several occasions because we love its originality, coziness, comfort and facilities. The rooms are well appointed, the food is excellent, the swimming pool is conveniently placed and the staff are very helpful. It is also situated in an exceptionally beautiful part of France.
Paying extra for breakfast!

Very cozy and quaint and the staff were great and helpful, restaurant is superb as is the wine list! AC in the room and comfortable bed was welcome.
Looking a little dated but still very charming and the bathrooms quite basic

Location perfect. Private parking. Loved the animals. Breakfast in room. Quiet pool. Air conditioning Dinner in restaurant delicious. Room had private garden
Perhaps a little more light for bathroom vanity.

Our room was air conditioned, quiet and comfortable, but having been adapted from a very old building had a few compromises. The toilet was in a cupboard and the shower was over the bath. However it worked well. The staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was comprehensive catering for every possible taste. The evening meal was a true experience. Great food perfectly served. Included parking was very welcome in this area.

Very well run establishment. Particular thanks for reserving garage parking for our vintage cars.
Did not tell us dining room needed to be booked in advance. Very irritating to have to go out on our last evening.
Investment needed in bathrooms. Easily the worst shower of 7 hotels on this trip. For the prices charged at this hotel, nearing unacceptable.

I stayed in this hotel with six friends. All of our rooms were different, as the property is comprised of five different buildings, each with their own set of one-of-a-kind rooms. Mine had a fireplace and expansive sitting area, with a big and modern bathroom. There was also a lovely courtyard to enjoy a bottle of wine before dinner. We ate at the restaurant which used to be a Michelin star rating and it was very good. They have room service as well. And the best thing? It was literally across the street of Chenonceau Castle. There was also a nice pool, hot tub, and sauna that were tucked away in a nice private area.
No complaints!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Auberge du Bon Laboureur Chenonceaux. Everything was perfect, room, breakfast, the staff of the hotel. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant, truly special, and we also really enjoyed the heated pool and outdoor jacuzzi after a long day visiting chateau Chenonceaux. We will definitely come back.

Comfortable, clean, and great staff!
Limited pool hours (closed at 7:30 pm) so we weren’t able to swim.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff in a wonderful location. Hotel has character and is a prime location close to the chateau. Enjoyed an evening stroll into the chateau grounds to watch the hot air balloons and microlights as the level crossing closed to let the odd train through. Swimming pool and discreet gardens make this hotel a treasure.

Natilie, Candace, Lillian, Lola and Madame Juedi were all exceptional! We are going back after being gone for only three days. The cuisine in the restaurant both dinner and breakfast was exceptional. And they cleaned our clothes for no charge!! Above and beyond.
Merci Beaucoup!

We had a great room with outside table & chairs. Perfect as we had our dog with us. Ate in the bistro on site. Excellent food and staff. Breakfast good but pricey. After the meal we returned to our room to find a small bag on the door handle containing chocolate & sable’ biscuits. Nice touch.

Very nice location
Could not get dinner as we had to book in advance which is a bit odd as guest in hotel should have it available. Had to eat down the road which must rate as the worst meal in all of France. They should never have recommended it as it spoilt our whole trip to the area
