Good place for a one night stay

Location is spacious Funny design of the restaurant . Not totally in style with the rest of the place though ; ) Plenty of private parking space. Restaurant serves good food.

The waitress was quite in experienced. Served food from the wrong side, felt a bit irritated and not very welcoming .

Ideal night stop en route North or South

This is our hotel of choice when we are heading North or South in France. Perfect location just off the motorway. Comfortable hotel, lovely wooded grounds for walking the dog after a long drive. As ever, dinner was excellent although the dining room does need some soft background music as it’s quite soulless. Breakfast is average but normal for France

The towels in the bathroom are small and not great quality. A small fridge in the room would be useful.

The grounds are stunning the pool was hit with the twins. Bar open when we arrived and stunning location

As a family who booked the family room we assumed the room would be one room. We struggled keeping the door open so we could make sure our 8 year old twins were ok. By keeping the doors open the corridor light would constantly come on and off. Food was beautiful but too fine dining for our boys and choices were very limited.

Lovely hotel, food not great for 79€

The hotel and grounds are wonderful, highly recommended

Unfortunately, the food did not live upto expectations, I ordered the 79€ menu the first course was fine , the fig jam and Foie Gras were fine though some vessels could have been removed., if fish is served with the skin on it should be crisp not flabby, the sauce was lacking seasoning, then filet steak which was gorgeous however the sauce was bitter and not balanced, the accompanying veg artichokes and something else, again were bitter and awful. Very sad as I have eaten here before and always enjoyed the food. I did not complain as I just wanted a simple evening with no stress.

Beautiful hotel, helpful staff, couple of tweaks it could be first class.

Beautiful location, lovely room, the bed was superb.A couple of things would enhance the experience. On arriving late, only one sachet of coffee and one teabag in the room for complimentary use. As we both drink coffee,, it seemed mean spirited and not in keeping with the otherwise lovely facilities. The breakfast was adequate if a little underwhelming, limited choice and for example, a tray of eggs available but the machine to boil them wasn’t switched on and had no water in it. The raw egg I opened on anticipation of it being already cooked was a messy disappointment. In addition,the internet didn’t seem to work. Overall, very nice indeed. We arrived too late for a meal in the restaurant but it looked like a very nice space.

Lovely setting in parkland. Good parking. Great restaurant. Very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again.

Our shower required a deep clean to remove limescale. The internet access is really slow. Impossible to stream video and audio buffered. Measured it at 2Mbps. Almost impossible to use VPN.

Excellent hotel, ideal stopover.

A great location very easy to reach from the motorway. An imposing classic appearance reached via a tree-lined drive and extensive grounds to walk in including their own forest. Nice rooms and a fantastic restaurant, and a bar with a good range of drinks including two draft beers (Leffe Blonde and a local pale hoppy beer). I stayed here in 2008, it’s still as good as before, having been refurbished about 5 years ago. It’s an ideal place to stop over en route to the south, about 6 hours from Calais and much less than that from Caen or St Malo.

Nothing to criticise. The pool doesn’t open until May but it was unseasonably cold for April and too cold to swim anyway.

Lovely place to stay with great food and friendly staff

Excellent location where staff are super welcoming, friendly and efficient. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff couldn’t have been more courteous. Overall a fabulous stopover on a long drive to Spain.

Grotesque and unfounded snobbery. Avoid at all costs

Everything. Supercilious, hostile, unhelpful managers. Nowhere to eat nearby so had to eat in hotel restaurant - meat heavy menu (we’re veg) and eye-wateringly expensive - c 100€ for dinner. No lift and wouldn’t help with luggage. Booked family room with twin beds but it was a double + sofa bed which we weren’t told and manager left us for an hour to deal with ourselves. Breakfast too expensive and wouldn’t allow us to take coffee to room

Usual great hotel, but disappointing meal.

Stayed many times because of it's convenience just off the aütoroute and it's comfortable.

This is the first time after many visits that we are critical of the restaurant, which rather spoilt our stay. Perhaps because it was full and was understaffed, we had lost our appetite by the time our main course arrived - after 90 minutes, Pərhaps this affected our judgement on the food - normally we would rate it 8/9 but this time it was 6/7. Whilst this will not stop us staying again, hopefully this was a "one-off".

They act like it is a really chique place but the rooms in the side-building are to small. Swimming pool was ok but could use Some maintenance. Breakfast ok but not up to standards to the fancy hotel they want to be.

Fabulous find, especially for the pice

Fabulous hotel with great facilities.

I would have preferred a more substantial door to the bathroom. There was also a most ridiculous couple at dinner, dancing around their table, killing flies. And then complaining to neighbouring tables if they coughed. I felt the dining staff might have stepped in and moved this couple before they made their shakespeare worthy dramatic exit; to be fair, several tables just laughed.

Air conditioning leaked. After being told 3 times it would be fixed we were then told it couldn’t be and were given a towel. we weren’t offered any compensation or another room. I have since sent an email to complain with no response.

Very comfortable stay, excellent dinner and breakfast, helpful staff. Excellent location for a stopover, very close to a motorway junction, but in a quiet rural environment.

Double bed was a bit small, but that's fair enough in the cheaper room type.

Great location, quite elegant decoration and the staff is just absolutely fantastic! The restaurant is of great quality, freshly made and serve French classics nicely reinterpreted.
