Château de Chissay

Great location - we picked it as close to CHENONCEAU and AMBOISE. Very characterful and lovely evening restaurant (if expensive)

Too many stairs with luggage - three stories of spiral steps with no help available. Furniture old and tired rather than original or antique

The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast was very good. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly

Beautiful building. Very large bedroom. Lovely sitting out areas. We liked the food and the service.

Stunning situation, fantastic building, realy staying in a Chateau. Overall the staff were very friendly and nice.especially the restaurant staff where excellent as well à the Chef the food was excellent.

ANTS Ants…arrived had them in the bathroom and toilets….called reception and I took ages for them to arrive, just put down some paste to kill the nest had to insistons get some spray to get rid of the existing ants. Told initaly could not change room as fully booked,,, then offered to change room at 22.00 in the evening. Bit late now. Had organised a bottle of Champagne to be delivered after our arrival for our 39th wedding anniversary never arrived had sent an email and called to make certain it happened, not to be except it was still on the bill when checking out…. It was then deducted but no apology, a moment lost for us.
