A magical place away from the hustle and bustle of tourism, hosted with much thought and care.

Breakfast devine - selections of home-grown fruits, homemade yoghurt, preserves and granola, local goats cheeses and breads, the best coffee I have ever had in France, delightful selection of teas. Host/ess unobtrusive yet attentive to all our needs. Location was a delightful surprise - an escape from tourism, and gave us a the recharge we needed. Had a quiet picnic dinner in the garden as the peace and quiet was best for us. Our room was large and incredibly comfortable, with carefully chosen artefacts and design. Bathroom couldn't have been better. We didn't get to use the pool but saw other guests having a great time.

One of our party had trouble walking up the front stairs as there was no banister, although he was permitted to use the lift which is normally reserved for luggage.

Alexandra made us very welcome. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated. The grounds were lovely and the kids loved the pool. We tried a few of Alexandra’s recommended restaurants and they did not disappoint. Breakfast was delicious and included home baking everyday.

A warm welcome, a beautiful setting, and a peaceful overnight stay — we only wish we could have stay

We stopped at Moulin du Pont en route to the Dordogne and, although our stay was short, it was thoroughly enjoyable. We arrived a little later than expected, but host, Alexandre, was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even helping us book a meal in the nearby town. The setting is beautiful, and the atmosphere calm and relaxing. Our room was very comfortable, breakfast was ample and tasty, and we really appreciated the peaceful location. It was also fascinating to see the old, now defunct mill that forms part of the property — a lovely historical touch. The swimming pool looked inviting, though we didn’t have time to enjoy it on this visit. We would not hesitate to return and hope to stay longer next time.

A tranquil and beautiful location

A beautiful location by the river Cher with excellent views from the bedroom. Very comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Delicious breakfast and very thoughtful hostess.

The only very minor quibble was the size of the coffee pot at Breakfast.

We were welcomed by the host Alexandra, she was very nice and helped us with finding a local restaurant suitable to our wishes. She gave us ideas for the local area and were in general an amazing host. She made a homemade breakfast which was wonderful.

Nothing was too much trouble.

Alexandra went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was fresh and tasty and the room comfortable. I enjoyed using the pool.

The place and location are exceptional, but by far the best of our stay was Alexandra, she is an excellent host that puts her heart on every interaction, her attention to detail is unparalleled, from the homemade breakfast to the cosy character and atmosphere of the place, everything was a 10/10. highly recommended!

Perfect place to stay in Touraine.

Alexandra is the perfect host. Its spotless - clean, quiet and very centrally located. There is ample parking but if anything the rooms are beautifully decorated, area quiet and nice lounge to relaX.

Alexandra provides a beautiful breakfast presentation with extra attention to local products such a delicious preserves, cheeses and teas. We enjoyed a large breakfast where she included choices of ham, eggs, and sometime waffles.

Le moulin est une belle demeure décorée avec goût. Alexandra est toujours disponible et de très bon conseil tant pour les visites que pour les restaurants. Le petit déjeuner est super, des produits frais de qualité, faits maison, et jamais les mêmes. Je recommande fortement cet établissement. L'établissement est trés bien situé pour les visites, prés de Chenonceaux, Chambord.....

Exceptionnel par la qualité de l'accueil et les prestations. Superbe emplacement, chambre magnifiques, petit-déjeuner excellent avec produits locaux. La propriétaire Alexandra est totalement à l'écoute et saura satisfaire la moindre demande. Parfaitement placé pour les nombreuses visites aux alentours. Beaucoup de raffinement et une adresse superbe à recommander sans aucune réserve !

Un séjour relaxant au bord du Cher

La chambre d'hôte est très bien située, dans un environnement paisible et ressourçant. Les hôtes se sont montrés très agréables et attentifs à nos besoins, ils nous fourni plusieurs recommandations de restaurants et de visites. Chambres très propres et confortables, très bon petit déjeuner.
