Excellent stop-over hotel.

The modernity with good facilities - free car park is a bonus.

Check in time is strictly adhered to (1600 hrs) after a long drive from San Sebastian we would have liked to get our room on arrival (1500hrs) - not a lot to ask if the room is ready.

The stay was great except for the very high deposit we had to pay and which they have not paid back

The staff were very kind, especially those in the dining room. The bed was huge and therefore we slept very well. The bathroom was big and clean.

We travel a lot and for the first time in my life we had to pay €140,50 deposit. We were not advised about this beforehand and I find it quite steep. We still have not gotten it back.

Two comfortable nights

Modern clean and comfortable. Really big room, with sofa as well as a large double bed. Coffee machine AND a kettle. Nice restaurant with friendly staff. Also enjoyed the swimming pool

Excellent base for exploring the Loire Valley

Outside Tour location makes it easy to drive to the Chateau’s.

No milk or black tea provided in the room. The hotel did provide milk for free on request.

In the middle of nowhere, or not?

Staff tried to accommodate my needs. Dinner in restaurant was nice. Room was spacious enough.

It would have been good to have some orientation about where I was, and how to use public transport if I didn't know, eg, a bus service was near, but where could I buy a 3 day ticket? The separate toilet had no wash basin, and the door to it and the bathroom were not functionally positioned. Restaurant was overpriced and barely offered vegetables (no salad and no vegan/vegetarian options). I walked to St Pierre des Corps for a salad one night, because I didn't know that Leclerc (opposite) was a shopping centre. I even got a salad at McDonald's. Again, orientation would have been helpful (especially as they knew I was from Australia).
