We spent three nights at Le Moulin Du Port and loved it. The house and the garden are beautiful and we felt like home here. Owner Alexandra helped us to find nice restaurants nearby. She really is devoted to her customers. Excellent breakfast, something different every morning. Ecological waste water system and ecological soaps provided.

Great stay, interesting historic property, accommodating and thoughtful owners. Beautiful room with many little details adding charm. Living room and dining room for shared used by guests are very nice. Good location very close to Chenaunceau and within short drive to many other landmarks. Definitely recommend!

Le Moulin du Port (the mill at the port) was very private and comfortable. Isabelle is a very accommodating host and speaks English well. The home is located on the Cher river in a small town central to many chateaus and winerys in the Loire Valley. The grounds are lovely with ping pong table, pool and table and chairs which we used for afternoon wines and cheese. All destinations have to be driven to. Breakfast included many local cheeses, breads, fruits, quiches, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. This is a good base for daytime excursions, but not if you do not like driving a little.

The old water mill stradles the weir on one side of the river Cher with lock gates on the opposite bank (the water wheel and working can be viewed through glass partition).Gorgeous views of river and country side beyond, although the sound of the water crashing over the weir may not suit all. It naturalised my wife’s tinataus so worked for us!

レンタカーでの古城めぐりのために2泊しました。ｵｰﾅｰがとても親切で、心地よい宿泊でした。川沿いの部屋は常にせせらぎの音が聞こえ、涼しさを演出。部屋に冷房はありませんが大丈夫でした。部屋は広く、清潔、バスタブもあって満足。シュノンソー（Château de Chenonceau）には車で10分もかからず便利。宿から車で5分位のレストランが集まっている区域にあるレストランは、どこで食べてもおいしかったです。ファンシーな都会のホテルとは異なりますが、日本で言うと高原のペンション風で車でのんびりの旅には良かったです。

we enjoyed our night here! our room was large and comfortable, as was the bathroom. please note that there is no air-conditioning and lots of bugs, so you basically cant open your windows with the lights on at night. it was nice being able to take a dip in the pool and hang out at the river, and we appreciated the breakfast offerings.

Very nice stay. Everything in the area was amazing. Breakfast was delicious . Very good quality. Was a little hot in the room but once the sun went down it cools off fast. No problems and would stay again.

Great and quiet location to experience the area and the chataeus, especially that you an walk from the le moulin du port to chataeu chennoncau. This was one of the highlights and the walking trip takes about 3hours plus the visiting time at the chateau which one should plan for say 2 hours at least.
