A great find

A last minute booking due to our journey down through Franve being delayed due to eurotunnel delays and militant farmers. We week lucky to get a couple of rooms in a great location . The staff were great and went the extra mile to rustle up some food on our late arrival . The rooms were well equipped, clean and just right for what we needed . Breakfast varied and very good .

If I was going to be critical it was a fairly basic hotel with dated decor but actually very comfortable with good facilities and great staff . The location is very close to Chenoceau - we walked along the River Cher in the morning and saw the Chateau - fantastic . I would go back without hesitation .

Comfortable room, strange pricing!

Breakfast was very good, and good value.The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet. The room did have Aircon, kettle and bottled water, which is a nice touch. Everywhere seemed well cleaned.

Sitting outside to eat, the bar chairs were uncomfortable to eat at, too low for good posture. No cushions were offered so I had to get some from our bedroom. For Dinner, the demi-pension menu offered was 4 course, but we never got cheese and the server tried to say it was a supplement. The next day I looked at the menu and cheese had a handwritten note of + 5 €, which we did not recall the night before, but we may be wrong. It was too late to eat more by then. The dinner was good enough, nice sirloin steak and salmon but not 'gourmet', more like Routier. The WiFi did not reach our room and there was no Sitting outside to eat, the bar chairs were uncomfortable to eat at, too low for good posture. Rip off EV charging tariff

Initially it seemed like a lovely hotel offering EV charging.

We were tricked into paying a massive fine because we didn't get up after 1 am to unplug the EV charger. The hotel billed us for several hours after the charger had finished.

I can definitely recommend this hotel to other interested parties.

Excellent location for an overnight stay when visiting Chenonceau Castle. Friendly staff, parking in a closed yard, rich breakfast. Unfortunately non-functional wifi (public, no password, could not connect).

As I have already mentioned, there was no internet connection. At the beginning of April, it is not easy to find an open restaurant for dinner in this area, almost everything was still closed.

Simple, has what you need, excellent location to Chateau de Chenonceau.

Very satisfactory standard French continental breakfast. The hotel keeper was very friendly and helpful. The room was simple, clean, and had everything needed. The location was excellent to visit Chateau de Chenonceau - just a few minutes drive or about a 20 minute walk. The car park was gated, which was nice. I didn’t utilize the bar, but there is a nice dining area and patio.
